We will be in 9001 on March 24th and have also been looking for pictures! If we don’t find any soon, I will be sure to take plenty and post when we return
Jamie, Any update on cabin 9001 ???

Delighted you got your cabin back. I was about to post saying is cancel myself in that situation. The so called upgrade was a disgrace and they were defo trying to pull a fast one.

I love it, I was picturing a little 9 yr old girl u til the end!!! 😂🎂
We celebrated our daughter's birthday on the Divina this past July . I had pre ordered a birthday before we sailed through the website . The cost was $13. It was delivered to the MDR table the evening of her birthday . Our servers lit the candles and a large group of other servers sang Happy Birthday (along with many fellow cruisers at nearby tables). I had picked up some room decorations at the dollar store and hung them up while she was having her breakfast . I placed a banner on her door and almost everyone who passed by wished her Happy Birthday . The room steward made her a special towel animal which was sweet . I guess I should mention we were celebrating her 37 th birthday , she is not a small child . And also of note, the cake was delicious ! -
I've no idea it's just something I noticed when researching my own cruises.
. ""I found Venice embarkation was usually the cheapest""So, are cruises sailing out off Venice the cheapest, because of lower port fees?
-
Another thing to factor in here will be flights. You may have to do a night in a hotel the night before for some ports because the flights may not get you in on time for the departure or they may only fly into that airport every other day. I found Venice embarkation was usually the cheapest but the flights were very expensive or not available the days I required. They all sound fab though so no matter which you choose you will have a great time.

i have seen two consecutive 1 night cruises back to back but they don't have the same cabin number available on both nights.
I'm wondering if I booked the two with different cabins would we be able to stay onboard like with longer back to back cruises? Can't ring msc until later. I would really like to do this as a little break away and wouldn't mind switching cabins but would mind getting kicked off the ship iykwim

For me travelling with 3 children and others in a s2 suite I probably wouldn't use any yacht club perks except for the premium drinks choices on the package. I would much rather prefer obc or money off another cruise, vouchers to premium restaurants etc. Everyone would have a different idea of what would suit them. We will see.

Thats what I'm thinking too 😬
I have an ominous feeling that the Yacht Club is going to be a lot more crowded..... -
:DFollowing for updates too. Booked for end of August 2018

This looks fab,my kids would love it too.thanks for sharing
We didn't do any of the excursions...we visited the movie museum in genoa (which our 4&5 year old boys loved) it was quite small and seemed to be a large personal collection of movie artefacts. Not very cultural I know but our kids were happy. Then the city of Valletta we walked to the Barakka Lift which was a fantastic fun way of getting up to the heart of the old city. Views were amazing and the city itself was simply stunning -we walked around and took on some of the historic buildings.

How did the kids enjoy the food and kids clubs, if they attended? Mine are very fussy eaters but would eat the usual pasta and pizza which I believe it's amazing. did your kids make many friends?

I have booked 9001 on seaview and my ta has said they are sister ships not twins. He says it's 2bed/2 bath too. I'm not yo bothered as it's 2adults and 3 kids but I'm wondering where the Pullman would be? Over the sofa bed or in the 1 bedroom?
Would it definately be 1 bedroom at least and not just one large room? It's so confusing but I'm glad I found this thread over arriving onboard to find out. We also booked the s2 next door for 3 adults, also hoping this is as big as it looks. Time will tell

Milena knight, you will have a fab time. We have been on liberty a few times and our son had a ball. There is lots for them to do, they even organised a half hour on battery powered bikes & cars.

Any specific problems with this cabin? Yes sewage smell and a long enough walk to the cabin, but expected this.
Any other comments? Booked as a solo cruiser so paid double occupancy, it was adequate but wouldn't like to spend alot of time in here with another person. Best thing was how dark internal cabin are, great if you have been out the night before.

Any other comments? Loved the extra space, we booked late so the minimum occupancy was waived. There is lots of storage and sitting space. There is a walkin wardrobe and a seperate room with bunk beds which is across from the bathroom. This didn't have a door it just had a curtain for privacy. As we were travelling with a toddler we put the pack n play in here. The bunks were not very long and were wall to wall so wouldn't suit a tall person. Would book again in a heart beat, didn't really miss the ocean view.

Thanks for the info.

Hi Loved the review, fair play for taking the time. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.
We are heading on Liberty in 2 weeks. You may know that they are doing a few stops where people start their holiday ie. Barcelona, Provence and Naples. We are embarking in Provence so this would have been day 2 for you, the Monday. I think you said that this was the first formal night is that right? did you notice that there were new fellow cruisers joining the cruise on this day or was it seamless. Also when was the second formal night? i'm guessing the day at sea ? I did read your review the other day but I have forgotten some of the info and I'm in work so don't have much time to write.
I love Liberty and this will be our 3rd time on her, I can't wait !
I think you mentioned a tender in Toulon, was their another way to get on the ship as our itinerary says it's docked not tendered? I wonder was the tender just to a particular area iykwim. Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.
Did you notice that others were staying on the ship after you had to disembark? I'm just wondering how RCI manage this multi start to people's holidays. Like the cruise compass usually has day 1, day 2 etc I wonder will we get confused, probably a silly question but it's on my mind.
Also the weather at the various Italian ports, how hot was it? We cruised in May last year and Naples was 24 degrees
Thanks in advance for your help.
P.S. I loved the fact that you shared your photos, it really adds the personal touch.
We are Irish so DH will be packing the teabag too!

Thank you so much for your review, I really enjoyed it. Even though I know the Freedom class ships quite well I still noticed one or two things I hadn't seen before in your pictures. Very bold I read it all in one go yesterday afternoon when I should have been working. It has gotten me all excited for my up coming Liberty cruise. I loved your style of writing as well.
