  1. I live in Liverpool, England. I took the advice given here about sending an email. So imagine my surprise when on Monday I see 'Miami, Florida' calling my phone and answer to Mr Adam Goldstein himself! He was so thankful for my email about the positive experience we had on board. It was a very special cruise for us as we were married onboard! It made my day! :D

  2. Hi

My son & girlfriend may consider cruise wedding....onboard or onshore...on RCI cruise to caribbean...possibly St Thomas....we are UK based...how did you arrange flights & wedding co-ordinator...possible date OCT/NOV 2014

    Many thanks

    JJ

We booked the cruise through Thomas Cook as it was cheaper than through RCI. When the flights were released from RCI we priced them against others, and ended up booking them through a company called 'Travel-O-World'. RCI flights were £900 which was flights, 1 nights accommodation and transfers. We booked BA flights for £600.

Once you've booked the cruise you can contact Royal Romance and book the wedding package. I suggest checking the date and port you want is available before booking the cruise itself. Provisionally book it and then confirm it all and pay once cruise is booked.

Hope this helps, but if I can help anymore I will.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Ive had a look at the photos of those rooms/lounges. I've emailed the wedding department for a list of places where we can now get married and will go from there.

The new R Bar looks amazing and although at first I didnt like the thought of it being open, after seeing the pics it I love it! The only part of the day we want to be private is the ceremony, so sharing the R Bar with others is no problem! Im sure we can discuss the possiblity of reserving a small area (for 12 people) when we get onboard!

  4. I booked Enchantment 17 months ago and will be getting married onboard in April. Originally we planned to get married in the library as its small and quiet, followed by drinks in the champagne bar and a meal at Chops in the evening.

Whilst Im all for updating the ship I am gutted that the library has been replaced with 2 cabins and now theres just a few shelves for books, and now I've just read that there is no champagne bar anymore!!!

Can anyone who has sailed Enchantment before, and who knows about the dry dock changes recommend somwhere to hold our small wedding ceremony and somewhere to have a few celebratory drinks afterwards?

    Thank you xxx

  5. You purchased suits for all of the men??? NICE!

Well, kind of! My future father in law offered to pay for the suits for us. We looked into the price of hiring vs buying as were travelling from the UK we'd need to hire them for a month (for the cruise wedding and party back home), so buying them was cheaper.

So they get to keep them, as well as all of the accessories such as shirt, tie, cufflinks etc
