River cruising is by far outstanding. We did a river cruise with Scenic 3 years ago.

We did try last year but it got cancelled due to low water. We got notified A week prior to sailing. We were heart broken.

I sail with Hal lately but the memories of the river cruise beat the other 85 cruises

I just called HAL and they have no clue who a pricing specialist is 😑

The AARP is on!y applied once a year

I went ahead and applied for the teachers discount.  They did apply the $100 to my sailing in May. I also have 4 more sailings. Can I get the discount on other sailings ? When the mariner lady tried to apply it for the October sailing it said that it had been used. Do I need to apply again for each sailing? Is it only once a year like the AARP?

Has anyone been in an aft cabin. During a South America cruise ?   How have the Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam or Zuiderdam fared during the notorious Cape Horn?

We will be stopping overnight in Trieste. We are thinking of staying overnight in Venice. What type of transportation will HAL have available?

This will not be our first visit. We will only have a carryon as the rest would stay on the ship. Don't know if the ship will have transportation from Trieste otherwise we have to figure out how to get there

Will be overnight in Trieste and would love to spend the night in Venice hotel? How do we get from Trieste port to Venice?  Any recommendations for a hotel near Rialto  bridge or St Marks square?

We will have too much luggage for tbs train. Just looking for something to do for afternoon and night. Have been to Amsterdam so many times and have done great trips. Just need to be able to relax and people watch with an area that has some restaurants. Not a fan of eating in hotel restaurants.

What is EES?  I'm always doing cruises so not sure if this is something I need to apply for. We are from USA

We have been in Amsterdam tons of times. This time it is just a stop over from Zurich to catch flight to USA. Don't want to be far from airport. Would like to be able to walk around and have restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Doing a cruise that will be overnight in Trieste.  We want to spend the night in Venice. Looking for a central hotel.  Not sure if cruise lines do a shuttle or some transport. Anyone know?

Just booked Renaissance Schipol airport.  Does anyone know if there are restaurants in the area and anything to do?  We will be at hotel from 2:00 pm till the next morning.

We were at zoo in November 2023 and we were disappointed with the zoo. Expected more animals. Some areas were closed.

We were going to go to San Diego zoo but picked Taronga zoo because of all comments.

Any places a must to see?
