Thanks for a great review of your cruise. We are on the same cruise later this year, so keen to pick up all the tips.
A few questions to you or others who were on your cruise, if you don't mind.
Were the ship selling the 7, 10 or 12 wine bottle packages?
Thinking about a soda package for our daughter, what soft drinks are available free during the day at Horizon Court, and the deck food bars etc. Presumable you can get fruit juice at breakfast in the buffet and the MDR. (On P&O all the machines change to water about 11am, whereas on Celebrity they provide free juice all the time) Presumably tea and coffee are aways available at all meals, even if lots of people think it is un-drinkable!
Finally did anyone do Rome on Your Own by coach, and if so can you tell me where exactly to drop-off/pick-up is. It says a short walk from St. Peter's, but it seems to be a 15 minute walk from the main square around the walls to the Vatican Musuem entrance. Is it near there or on the other side of the square, in which case it could be up to 30 minutes from the drop-off point to the Museum entrance.
Many thanks again. Sorry your weather wasn't brillant. I expect we will have the opposite problem, 42 degrees C last time we were in Rome.

Lots of experts on this thread. Can anyone tell me if you can buy separately bottles of non-premium water, or is it only available as part of the Classic non alcohol package? If you can, how much is it and what size is the bottle? Thanks

Rusalka42 Thanks so much for the info on soft drinks etc
golf29 Thanks for the info on the wine bottle packages. Most Princess ships seem to do the deal but not all, depending on stock levels/availability etc. We were already thinking of the Silver package, so hope it continues to be available.
