  1. I read a couple of posts that Brazil still requires a coronavirus test in order to cruise.  I dont see that any where in my paperwork or on the MSC website.  I am from the US and the people in the post were from the UK (I dont know if that makes a difference).  Is there someplace legitimate for me to check the requirements?

    Thank you

Yes.  Out of Rome it says within 3 days. So Wednesday is 3 days before departure if it’s a Saturday.

If your original vaccine series is over 9 mos old…don’t forget you need a booster.

Thanks for the response, does the 8-9 hour time difference play into that at all? and you say original vaccine series over 9 months but you must mean boosters?  Our original vaccines were over a year ago.

  3. I go by the Rick Steve's rule of thumb, plan for the best case scenario, not the worst.  You can always buy anything you need.

For me carry on only has nothing to do with the $ but the ease of travel.  We will be doing an 11 night cruise with 8 more nights on land.  Our apartments on land will have washer and dryer so we will just do laundry one night.

Everyone needs to find what works for them.  You really can fit a lot in one carry on bag if you have the right bag and pack accordingly.

  4. How did you get tickets to Saint Johns? I have looked on their website and dont see anything. Do you have a link you could provide?

We just returned from our Greek Island cruise yesterday. Mykonos was our down beach day, and ended up being my whole families favorite day. We got a day pass for Saint John's Resort. It was at the cost of 80 euros per person, which was well worth the experience. It included transfers from the ship, a fantastic breakfast buffet, a gorgeous infinity pool, loungers, a beach experience, a three course lunch and transfers back to the ship. It was the best relaxing day with the most gorgeous views of the island. They limit the number of day passes to keep the experience relaxing and not crowded. We were there during their most busy time, resort filled, and yet still very private.
  5. I am trying to decide between these two ships and itineraries. Has anyone been on both that would recommend one over the other? I feel like both have their Pros and Cons and cant really decide.

    MSC Poesia

Venice, Bari, Katakolon, Mykonos, Athens, Sarande, Dubrovnik, Venice

    MSC Sinfonia

Thank you in advance for any input you might have.

  6. I literally just sent in the match paperwork and then logged in to check that my profile was updated when I saw the 2200 points. It seems odd that it would have happened that quickly.

  7. I have never cruised with MSC but I have been poking around the website and I registered for a login to save some wish lists. Well when I look at my profile it says I have 2200 points..... I am pretty sure that isnt possible. Does anyone have any ideas why this would be?

  8. Yes, we used Ocean Scapes spa with Latoya. She was great, it was right on the beach, easy to find. It is not as pricey as on the ship but it was still a little expensive.

  9. The cruisett website doesnt even show my ship the Carnival Dream in any of the ports on any of the days we will be there. Makes me think that website isnt very reliable.

As for the cruise timetables website, I am just wondering how accurate that one is. It does show my ship and some ports, we are the only ship listed.
