  1. I just checked my December 2015 Brilliance reservation. It still shows that I purchased the " New! Wine and Dine Platinum 5 Bottle " package for 189.75. If they intend to discontinue these packages, I wish they wouldn't drag it out. Just do it and give me my money back!!!

Have printed all my docs for up coming cruise 2 weeks still showing my wine and dine pack !

  2. I just need to finish packing after some laundry tonight. Get up very early for my 7am flight and then hopefully on Freedom by late morning.

I will check the port canaveral webcam when I get up at 5am tomorrow before leaving for the airport.

    Very excited now! :)

She is on her way :)

    Not far from PC

  3. Agree. I think this is a dumb move on RCCL's part. That was the main way I'd buy alcohol on the ship. Hard to believe, I know, but I'm not a big drinker. Typically a mixed drink a couple of times on board and a nice wine package with dinner. Instead of getting $200 from me for wine, they'll be lucky if I even spring for a single glass of wine at dinner.

Ditto ! Phoned RC this does not apply to uk cruises :)

  4. A heads up. The captain has announced a delayed arrival of 2hours in to Port Caneveral tommorow due to strong currents. The ship will be docked by 8:15 with disembarkation to start right away. May be a bit delayed in boarding. CBP could easily delay disembarkation. Phones are being made availble to allow people to change flights.. We missed Caymen and were delayed arriving in Labadee. In the eastern leg that left on he 16. There was a delay arriving in to st Thomas. They left Cozumel 2 hours early to avoid delays. But the currents were too strong

She is on her way in to port :)

  5. Hi all, we are flying from Glasgow when we go on our cruise and when we fly out with the flights, connections etc we will have been flying and hanging around airports for about 16 hours which is insane when the exact same day there are flights leaving Glasgow to Gatwick then Gatwick to Orlando with no big lengthy stopovers, basically we are going to contact RCI tomorrow to see about changing these flights and I wondered if this has happened to any of you and what the outcome was, I wouldn't bother so much if it was just my husband and I but we have people with us who will not cope just as easily.

Sent from my GT-P5210 using Forums mobile app

It happened to us to we just rang RC and they changed the flights for a small fee ie 35 pounds each well worth it :)

  6. If you have flown into the Orlando Airport to cruise on one of RCCL ships and had transportation through RCCL, was someone there to meet you, etc.? Did you have to show proof that you had transportation through them or what?

There is a rep to meet you also you have a receipt in your documentation to hand over :)

  7. I just reserved for our upcoming Explorer cruise and it was $25.00....although their website still shows $20.00 RCCL can never seem to get their website to coincide with what is really going on...LOL In any case, I just assumed the price had increased and booked at the $25.00 charge.

We booked 3 months ago ! Now our reservation is not showing  hope RC are not penny pinching here

  8. Have a very nice contact at hotel that sent me these options for getting to their place and then getting to Southampton....is this accurate? Seems I am reading about a few different options on this site! Would you recommend any of these?

Transfers from Heathrow to Arosfa confirmed (with a driver) at £43.

Alternatively, you can take the Piccadilly Underground Line which will take you directly to the City Centre. A single fare from the Airport (zone 6) to the centre (zone 1) is approximately £6.50 pounds.

You can take the stop on Russell Square and from here walk the 9 minutes to the hotel or perhaps take a taxi. You can also take the stop at Leicester Square and then transfer to the Northern Underground Line which will take you two stops further to Goodge Street. From here the hotel is only a 3minute walk.

Transfers from Arosfa to Southampton Port:

Private car transfer (1 hr) not confirmed with company as trains showing up cheaper.

Eurolines (going from Victoria station) £91 - These are cheap seats for advanced booking. The price will increase substantially as time goes on. You will need to add extra to go from the Hotel to Victoria station by bus or Train. This would be an extra cost of £10 (by bus) or more if using the tube. £20 if taking a taxi. Journey time approximately 1 1/2 hours (1/2 hr to get from Hotel to station). Drop off at Port.

Rail no availability for advanced purchases over 2 months (leaving from Victoria Station) £32.00. Add extra expenses to transfer to Victoria Station as per the above. Group price (will change as time goes on) due to period of advance purchase restricted so these changes will be different closer to purchase time. Total travel time 2 hrs and 27 mins with changes.

go with the driver london is a nightmare at the best of times :)

  9. This is just what I thought...the are doing the celebrate love decorations since they can use them for more than one occasion...wedding, honeymoon, anniversary. Yet if you go to order them, they are still separate item numbers...one for JM and one for anniversary...yet you're getting the same product

We also got that one this year for our anniversary !! On previous years we got the old anniversary ones did not matter to us because it was lovely to have our cabin decorated plus we took most of it home !! :)
