  1. The money bar, playa corona, and sky reef.  All less than 30 minutes from any of the cruise ports.  Taxi about 15.00 for up to 4 people.  Never had a problem finding taxi back.  All have man made sand beach to relax on with iron shore for decent snorkeling.  Usually no admission but your are expected to buy food and or drinks.  I have found them all to be about the same price for food/drinks and good food and drinks😜. I wait till done snorkeling to have drinks.  They all have gear to rent if you need it

  2. Unless you are really set on having a jeep( can’t go off road, front drive shaft is removed) insurance won’t let you. I would recommend using rentadoraisis.com.mx Resonable rates with insurance. Margarita has vw convertible and some other small cars. Nice people to deal with

  3. Also, we have never used the cabs from in the pier. I always walk out and talk to van driver as we usually have 6 or 8 in out group. Tell them what we want to do and see and how much that want to stay with us the whole time. Sometimes I take their suggestions of what to do, but usually we know where and what we want to see and do.

  4. We all loved Punta Sur. Been there about 4 times. You need to hire a driver for the day. Last time at the park admission was $14. Per person, kids 3 to 11 was $8.00. There is a light house you can tour, very small mayan ruin, an observation platform where you can see crocs sometimes. After that we have the driver take us to the end of the road. It has to be the most beautiful beach on the whole island. They give tours to the mangrove lagoon where you are almost guaranteed to se crocs, included in admission price. Snorkeling is aways off the beach, but is one of the best, small place selling food and drinks.

  5. Cozumel doesn't really have topless beaches. As someone said I have seen some go topless at the more secluded spots, even at chankanaab park at the far south area. A lot of women have been photographed at coconuts bar topless

  6. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a return cab either. Very easy to get to and from, just ask how much to get back before you get in. Some taxis seem to take advantage of cruise ship tourists because they don't know the rates.

  7. The farther south you go the small bars are less crowded, but the big beach bars get really busy. The money bar is close and have decent food and bar prices. Probably has some of the nicest restrooms. A little farther south is playa corona , an older beach bar. Usually very quiet, beers last year were about 3.50 US, margarita were about 7.00. They had remodeled the bathrooms, but still not as nice as money bar. Next to that is the new Sky reef bar. Didn't stop last year, but 2 years ago is was nice. Both have man made sand beaches and usually don't charge if you buy food and drinks.

  8. This March we are doing b2b on different ships. We will be on the glory, then get off and get on the breeze. In the past we have always done the self disembark. My question is since our check in time on the breeze is at 10:00, can we stay on the glory until about 9:00 and still do self disembark and carry our luggage to the breeze by 10:00?
