  1. My cruise departs in two days and we have not yet been assigned a cabin. We got a move over offer last week (as did a lot of others in our roll call). Unfortunately, we couldn't take it because we're locked into these dates...but it seems like (much like the airlines) they'll just keep sweetening the deal until they free up enough space. With that many people sailing, there are going to be enough that want that really great deal!! I'm not going to worry about it, I'll just show up and hope my bags eventually find me :) Just enjoy the surprise of it all (and hope for an awesome upgrade)!

  2. I haven't been cruising as long as some of you (#lifegoals), but I'm stepping out of my 'comfort zone' to take my first Princess cruise. Itinerary drove me on this one (as it has on all prior cruises). Prior to now I've been pretty much exclusively NCL. I'm learning in reading through these posts that a lot of us are kind of creatures of habit...loyal to our lines, partly because you cruise so hard to earn those perks (though they may dwindle). I enjoy reading all of your thoughts on the various lines though!

  3. We are on the plane headed to Florida now. We board Sky today for the 3 day Bahamas and then B2B for the 4 day Cuba next week. Did NCL have any of the evening parties (White Hot or Norwegian Night Out) while on board? I threw a white dress in just in case (can never hurt!) but was curious what the onboard schedule looked like.

A little too late to help jenidallas, but we just got off the 4 day that left on June 5th and they did have the White Hot Party on the final night! We did not do a B2B though, so are back in the real world. :(

  4. Thanks for doing this for all of us that will be sailing to Cuba on NCL Sky in the future.

I also have one question is it going to be a hassle if we just use US Currency and not fool with the exchange of money. Thanks

Are you referring to changing your USD to another Currency (i.e. Euro) before you go? That is done because there is a 10% surcharge on USD exchanged in Cuba to CUC...that charge does not exist for other currencies.
