We did the Tru Bahamian Food Tour and loved it. It is a three hour tour and was fantastic all around. We walked around and did some shopping in the Straw Market and on the main streets, did the food tour, then went snorkeling with Blue Hole Watersports, then more shopping. Great day all around. Highly recommend the food tour. Graycliff Chocolates were the best I ever had.

Yes, my husband did.

It's not that far. About ten minutes.

That tour was fantastic! I booked right online. Just Google Tru Bahamian Food Tour. The cost was $69.00 per person but I used points from my Bank of America credit card so didn't have to pay for two tickets directly. I couldn't make the tour at 11:30 so Alana checked with her other guests and moved the tour to 12:00 to accommodate us. My teens enjoyed the tour as well. It was interesting and gives you a real taste of the Bahamas and a heavy dose of history and culture. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend her tour.

How did you manage all those great pictures with little people in them? I have two more weeks to go and pray the day is as beautiful as that. Thanks for posting.

I was there last July. Did a snorkel trip on our own and a food tour. Never once felt unsafe. You just need your street smarts like everywhere else. We would go back.
