I loved Dancing With The Stripes! It was fun, silly and got everyone laughing. Seems like Celebrity has stopped doing it and Royal has picked it up on some cruises.
Also enjoyed the Top Chef competition.
Very disappointed that the Activities staff has been so drastically cut.

I believe it's been chartered. We were disappointed last year when we tried to book.

I signed up on Monday and every morning this week at 8:40 am I receive my confirmation.

Best one for us was a Celebrity Connections gathering.
The cruise director welcomed everyone then asked if anyone was looking for someone in particular from the thread we had been posting on for months. People would stand up say their posting name and who they were looking for. Met some really great people. That was a true "connection" party!

We have sailed with Ken ithis past winter B2B & will probably see him in November again on the Summit. I see CDs as performers, that's their job. And I'm sure it's not always an easy one. We had spent some time in the Elite lounge one night with Ken & some of the Activity staff, just a quiet corner conversation. It was a pleasure to sit and talk one on one. They listened to my take on some things good & bad, some suggestions and overall just chatting with some hard working people. Mark & Justin were lots of fun during our 2 weeks on board as part of the Activity staff under Ken. I wouldn't hesitate to cruise with that staff again. CC hostess Ashley was amazing as always. The Summit crew is very special! Captain Leo takes good care of them.

Just got off the Summit last week & booked the 10 & 11 nt. sailings. Nice alternative from doing a B2B 2 week cruise. Great itinerary too. Overnights in Barbados & Aruba.
Lots of guests were booking while on board according to the future cruise people so these are very popular.

We recently sailed on the Quantum of the Seas and as you enter the buffet you have the option of hand sanitizer or using a hand washing station off to the side. Great idea!

Ashley is currently on vacation and has been replaced by Lionel.
Doing a B2B 1/31 on the Summit. Any idea when Ashley will be back? Although we love Lionel too!

We were on a B2B and the formal night was changed to the next night. We watched in the theater. There was plenty of food set up. Sliders, hot dogs, salads, cakes for each team, nachos and wings. The Capt. & Hotel Director each took sides before the game started
. There was an ice sculpture of the Lombardi trophy too! Great job by Celebrity.

Thanks Jane for a number one rated review of a number one rated ship! We sailed on her in January, same week as BILL-WI. Had a wonderful time, one of our best cruises ever. Looking to possibly doing a B2B in January 2011. The roll call for the 1/15 is jumping once again!
Happy sailings, Diane

Glad you're warming her up for us. :) We'll be on the Ruby on Nov. 14.
Bon voyage! Have a fun & safe trip and thanks for all the answers.

I believe it also blocked E707.

We were in E705 and the beginning of the "white boxy thing wall " was outside our window, so you should be OK.

Booked Le Petite Chet on Summit cruising in July. 18% gratuity was added. The week before it was $55 and when I went to book it was $64.
