Thanks so much for the info about the gardens and Monte. I see that there is a bus that goes up to Monte as well. Do you recommend the bus system? How much is the fare? Also, is there a Hop-on, Hop-off tourist bus in Madeira, and if so, what is the cost for it? Thank you again. We look forward to visiting your home.

Thank you for all the great information. Do you know the prices for the cable cars to Monte and to the Botanical Gardens? Is there a package that includes admission into the gardens and the cable car rides? Also, can we use an American credit card for the tickets, or must it be in euros? Thank you again!

To anyone who could help:

We will be arriving in Vancouver on Celebrity Millennium on May 30, 2008. We want to store our luggage at Canada Place terminal for the day as we tour the city.

Is there any other transportation from Ballantyne, where we will port, to Canada Place? We would catch a cab if they are available and willing, but wondered if there is a better way to go a short distance.
