  1. We were there two weeks ago. We wanted to see Mendenhall Glacier but made no arrangements prior to getting off the ship. I waved down a taxi and she took us (two of us) directly to the visitors center for about 75.00 which included admission. She gave us her phone number and to call her about 20 minutes before we were ready to leave. When we were ready to leave we called and she just happened to already be there as she had just dropped off some other people. Worked like a charm. Her name was Daring (quite unique) and she was a sweetheart. She is with Juneau Taxi and her number is 502.919.3191.

  2. One morning on the Symphony I had spilled coffee on a pair of joggers. Sent them to be cleaned but they came back with a crisp crease down both legs. Who has creases on joggers/workout pants? I never thought I would have to ask that they don't put a crease on them as if they were dress pants, and I don't know if my request for no crease would be properly conveyed to the laundry people.

  3. Today I called the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. I told them I was aware of that there was a limit on permits for tours to take you there as everything I looked at was booked. I told them I also looked at the "Blue Bus" but it there was no availability. The woman I spoke to said you can take a city bus but where it stops is still a mile away from the center. She suggested with taking a taxi or Uber. Although they still cannot take you directly to the Visitor Center, they can drop you off at "a" or "the" parking lot which is about a 1/2 mile walk. She also said they do not limit how many people can be there at one time and we wouldn't have any issue getting in. Its just the getting there part. So I guess we'll play it by ear once there and see if we can work out some type of arrangement with an Uber driver and see if we can agree to meet him/her at a certain time to take us back to port. Either way we won't be crushed if it doesn't work out.

I don't know as I don't bother to watch his annoying videos anymore or those of that even more annoying Youtube loser Don, the one who includes loser things from his life that have nothing to do with cruises.

Couldn't agree more. In my opinion that Tony is just full of himself and Don has some cloud constantly over his head having this problem or that problem in life.

We will be on her first cruise after amplification so I've been following the stories regarding what will be done while she's in dry dock. While none of the changes have been confirmed by RCI, here is an article explaining some of the changes.

What is the date and itinerary for this cruise? I have a friend who will be joining Freedom as a performer. He said he would be flying to Spain a week before she sails after dry dock but he didn't know what the itinerary was other than crossing the Atlantic to San Juan.

  6. We had an Aqua Theater Suite on Deck 11 on Symphony. You could hear the show in the living room but not the bedroom. Unfortunately the week we were on the ship they were changing over to new cast members of the show and were constantly rehearsing through each day. No movies were played on our sailing.
