booked today. Travelling solo, as I usually do 🙂Â
Whilst I have done many cruises, this is my first cruise to NZ.
Approx 12 years ago I did a land trip to NZ. Toured the north island but ran out of time for the south island. So I'm looking forward to exploring more of NZ.

Question in regard to cancelling drink package....
Â
I have purchased a drinks package and the cost has been deducted from my credit card. If I cancel, how long would it usually take for the refund to come back onto my account.....ie: couple of days or several weeks?
Â
TIA

Thanks bobhsv for that info. I haven't been on Carnival for a while and back then they were talking about joining them so that the USA cruise days where taken into account. Glad to hear that this is being done :)

You can not book Carnival Spirit via the USA Carnival website only with the Carnival Australia site. (or travel agents)
The same with Legend for the 6mths (approx) while it is cruising from Sydney (including Honolulu to Sydney return leg after the Alaska season)
Â
Your VIP number (USA) will not be accepted with Carnival Australia, as it is run seperately from Carnival USA.
While they will know that you have cruised with Carnival USA before, you will be at cruise number 1 with Carnival Australia.
But I believe that the cruise can be added to your VIP (USA) cruise day tally.
Â
As to drink packages.... Carnival Australia only has Soda packages and does not have the Cheers program. There is also no taking a bottle of wine per adult person either

Hi there, sorry but being new to this forum, can you please either explain or paste a link to the 'Australian & New Zealand' section? as I thought that you had to look on the Dawn Princess forum, for your specific cruises
Â
thanks for your info :)

Hi Geblues,
If you go back to the Cruise Critic Message Board Forum page and scroll down further past the Cruise Line's A to Z and Roll calls, you will see the Australia and New Zealand forum section. Hope this helps you-- I'd post the link but I'm PC ..... lets just say not real savvy :)

Was the $200 the total of her fare for the cruise?
Is it possible that this letter is just formally stating that she looses her full fare due to being a "no show" and that her port fees etc are being refunded?
Â
I may be reading it wrong but I don't see anywhere on that letter that states a "further $200 will be charged".

I've done this several times. Get off one ship, collect luggage, walk to next ship, checked in luggage given to porters and then check in and board next ship.
Enjoy your cruises :)

No need to pack up. Just let your Steward know that you are B2B.
Usually they already know, but I have had times when they didn't know when I mentioned it to them.
Enjoy your B2B :)

Booked this cruise yesterday. Looking forward to another transpacific cruise. This one that is including Japan will tick off a few more of the bucket list 🙂 Any questions about Luminosa I may be able to answer as I was on the transpacific last year and also the cruise before to Alaska and the following 4 cruises (B2B2B2B2B2B) I'm also onboard next month for another 11 days.  Sharon
