  1. My wife ans I are looking at sailing on the Triumph from New Orleans in September. Probably on the 9/12 sailing. We are looking at an Aft-faceing balcony room. Anyone had one of these rooms? looking for your reviews.

    We have stayed in aft balconies quite a few times. There is no better balcony on the ship. Splurge and get it. But know u will be spoiled and will expect nothing less :)

  2. So great hearing everyone's success!

    IUnfortunately I have hit a lull in mine and it is mostly due to lack of motivation and laziness :(

    However, coming here and seeing all of your success has really helped in getting me to take that first step back into the healthy world.

    So I think you all from the bottom of my heart!

    Now I'm going workout on Millie!

    I been trudging along pretty ok. Not gaining but not losing either.

     

    I did the color run! Which was awesome! Although we walked it, it was still 5 k of fun :)

  4. Well. How's everyone been doing!?

     

    I've been ok. Down about 3 pounds. I'm becoming a little more regimented with my eating but not as good as I could be.

     

    I suffered a big loss a few weeks ago and sorta gave up a bit for awhile. But no excuses. Walking on Mille always makes me feel better and if I could change my way of thinking about it I think I would make time everyday :)

    Plan on losing a few more pounds by the end of this month. Wish me luck :)

  5. I haven't checked in for a minute. Life gets in the way sometimes. Still doing pretty well with my food. My exercise is not where it needs to be, but I'm going to focus on that this week. I'm down 12 pounds since January. Still have a way to go, but progress is progress. :)

     

    I'm jealous of your 'Millie'. Sometimes the drive to the gym is what actually keeps me from exercising. Sheer laziness but it is what it is. Priorities need to be worked on this week!

  6. Still walking away on Millie.

    Still not eating right.

    I have had good bit of stress for over a week now with my cat in the hospital.

    But no excuses!

    Going grocery shopping tomorrow and will be buying all healthy food so looking forward to next week.

    Hope everyone else is doing well. Miss your updates!

  7. Well. 3 nights working out with Millie and it feels so great. It's like my ME time when I get home :)

    My diet hasn't been perfect.

    It's like I eat right and couldn't get motivated to work out

    OR

    I work out and don't eat right.

    Ugh

    I've got to get these 2 together cause then the pounds will really come off

    Still holding strong at my starting weight largely due to the issue above.

    Oh well. I'm gonna keep on keepin on :)

    I am currently off track on my working out but on track with eating right 6 of 7 days a week! When is your cruise? I have about 6.5 months til mine!

  9. Well. Had a great week and did well eating. Still not getting regimented with my workouts. I'm going to work I. That more this week!

    Took the weekend off and have been eating yummy stuff. Lol. I will work on not doing that next week :)

    Trying to get re-motivated. I found these really cool workouts on Facebook with by a girl named Jessica.

     

    The page is Dance Fitness by Jessica. There are some really fun dances videos on there. I tried a few out tonight!

  11. So happy to read all of your good eating and exercising!!

     

    I did not have a good weekend at all.

     

    No reason to post about it. But somehow I'm still down my 1 pound. Tomorrow is a new day and I plan on making it count. Grocery shopping after work and will be sticking to my guns!

    Breakfast - pear

    Lunch - Lean Cuisine

    Snack - cheese stick

    Dinner - Grilled Chicken Salad. With a little cheese and a little Catalina dressing.

    Worked out my Wii Fit when u got home. I really pushed myself and it was great!

    Everyone have a great Thursday! Which is one day closer to Friday

  13. Day 9

     

    Breakfast - weight control oatmeal

    Lunch - lean cuisine

    Snack - chocolatey pretzel cereal bar

    Dinner - I call it "turkey taco bake".

    HH is on tortilla chips. Mine is on Special K cracker crisps! And I only ate half of my side. Gonna have it over a salad tomm!

     

    No workout today. :(. No excuses!

  14. Well. I was gonna do my best to be good today but had a cheat day anyway. Lol. Did great for breakfast. But then made homemade pizza. Had 2 small slices and then ate a lil cookie dough. Lol. But still with all that I didn't go over my WW points. Which is cool.

     

    Just didn't have any motivation today. It really is hard to fight my laziness sometimes. But tomorrow is a new day and a new week and I'm going to keep on trucking!!

  15. Ok. Day 6 started off well but ended up with HH and happy hour. Lol. It was fun and came home and just ate a few cracker crisps, some cheese, and a banana!

     

    Day 7 plan

     

    Breakfast - had a banana

    Lunch - it's gonna be soooo good! I'm making chicken fajitas on the grill!! (In light of our 70 degree weather!)

    Dinner will be very light as the fajitas will prolly be ready around 2 or so.

     

    About to get on my wii fit. Which means weighing myself. Praying for a 1-2 pound loss!!

    Day 5

    Breakfast - banana

    Lunch - Lean Cuisine

    Snack - Dannon Cherry Greek Yogurt

    Dinner - homemade pork sausage (we buy it at a local store it's so good) on a wheat hoagie

    Splurge - having some wine.

     

    Not working out today. I pulled my left shoulder at work and am a bit afraid. Last time I did something like this it hurt for a freaking month. Ugh.

  17. Neaux Sneaux Day Part 2!

     

    Off on another Snow Day-even though we have had no snow but lots of ice :(

     

    Other than a few cocktails I had yesterday I did very well! The cucumber sandwich was awesome and so good my HH ate half of it! Instead of mayo I used mustard and red wine vinegar.

     

    Today's plan is:

     

    Breakfast - 1.5 fried eggs with one slice of whole grain toast and I splurged with a sweet tea :)

     

    Lunch - salad :) with or without turkey

     

    Snack - banana

     

    Dinner - leftover chili possibly. Not sure yet.

     

    Workout - gonna do some step on the wii fit :)

  18. forgot to say what exercise I am doing.

     

    I live in the boonies. I am not gonna drive 25 miles for a gym. so I make do. I walk as often as I can.

     

    I use WII Fit (mostly advanced step and Island Run)

     

    I do the 10 minute videos on Sparkpeople for strength

     

    I do wii fit too :).

    Anywho....

     

    I'm gonna be posting a bit today cause I am home and have the time and helps keep me on track.

     

    Are my oatmeal and just worked out on my wii fit :). Now Hh is playing on it! Lol

     

    Bout to whip up that cucumber sandwich. It will be hard not to put mayo on it. Lol.

     

    It's starting to ice here. Trying not to make this a cocktail kind of day. Lol

  20. Anyways....

    My Day 3 plan on Sneaux Day in LA! Lol

     

    Breakfast - weight control maple n brown sugar oatmeal (I may splurge and use skim milk in it instead of water)

    Snack - pear or my dannon Greek yogurt.

    Lunch - I have seen some really cool sandwiches made with cucumbers and think I may try this with turkey :)

    Snack - Special K crisps with salsa

    Dinner - thinking of making turkey chili or my whole wheat pasta turkey spaghetti. Only problem with the turkey chili is I will want corn bread and lots of it. Lol. So I may save that one for a cheat day!!
