Thanks for all the info. When we went to New England in Oct. they didn't even have tender tickets and we walked right onto the 1st tender. So we'll just be up and ready.

Anyone that has gone to G.Cayman recently on Brilliance- do they require tender tickets. I have a private tour that leaves at 9. If so, what time do they start handing out tickets? And also which of the 3 tender areas in port do we arrive at. I understand there are 3. Thanks so much and only 2+ weeks to go.

I have researched but could only find threads from 2 years ago. I need a cushy top of the bed for hip issues. We are going on Brilliance in a few weeks-oceanview room. Do they still have the egg crate mattress toppers or do I need to bring my own? It is just one more thing to pack around but I will if needs be. 1st time on Royal for awhile. Thanks!

OK-so I did a search but some of the threads are really old. I'm looking at booking the Pearl for an Alaska cruise. Has anyone had a problem getting the thermal spa pass if you do it as soon as you get onboard? We try to board early. And also, what is the current cost for a 7 day pass on the Pearl? Thanks guys!

We only take carry on/off luggage with us. On both the POA and Star, when we got on we asked the 1st crewmember we saw where to drop our luggage. They didn't just tell us, they took us there which I thought was so nice. It was a room or area really close to boarding and they give you a check in stub. I think you have to pick them up within 2 hours of the announcement that rooms are ready. I learned about this here on CC. Thanks guys!

We had outside cabin 4554, which is 4 rooms forward of the centrum on the starboard side (same hallway as your cabin). We could hear the music in our cabin during the 70's Disco Inferno Party which lasted from around 10:30-midnight and one other night during the Rock Brittania Party, which was around the same time. Once the shows ended it was quiet. The other nights the music wasn't as loud. I think that you will be okay in 4546. If you are really light sleepers, you may want to bring earplugs just in case, or try to move to a cabin a little further forward of the centrum. We found deck 4 mid-ship to be a very convenient location. I did write a comment about the noise on the survey card. Have a great cruise!

We will be on Brilliance to Canada next year. Why do I book out so far? I have posted this question but nobody really answered so maybe someone who was just on her has an answer. We will be in cabin 4546 which is 8 forward of the centrum. Do you have any idea if the sound from the music at night in the centrum will reach that far forward? We are sorta early to bed/early to rise folks. I am so excited for this cruise! Thanks.

We will be 8 cabins forward of the centrum on Brilliance deck four. Anyone who has been there think this will still get a lot of noise from the centrum at night? We are kinda early to bed-early to rise people due to hubby's work schedule. I like the location but could still move it forward if needs be. I get crabby with no sleep!:mad:

We just booked a room on deck 4 about 7 rooms down the hall from the centrum. It looks like deck for would be the one where the bands are actually playing. Just wondering if I should move my room farther towards the bow. We are also early to bed-early to rise people. Any feedback will be appreciated. CC boards are so helpful.

Thanks for the great review and pictures. Only 8 more weeks till we leave for NOLA! Can you tell us what time you got to the pier since it was such a mess? I think you should find a career where you are a nurse/writer/photographer. Hope you got some sleep.
