Yay! You're finally on the ship. I love these late reviews (yours and LJ's) so that I can re-live our wonderful cruise. We were on two weeks before you just down the hall in 9224.

Thanks for finishing this now! I needed a mid-winter refresher and reliving that wonderful trip is perfect.

Ollemissreb - we were in Anchorage the day after LJ, and had lunch at Glacier Brewhouse. Very good!

Off topic, but I must know - which is the best Italian restaurant in KC? I love Italian, and there's not much quality in Eastern Jackson County (at least that I've found).

What is the best way to get from the ship at Canada Place to the Days Inn downtown? Google maps calls it a 5 minute walk, but we'll be dragging a large suitcase plus carryons for each person. Would it be an easy enough walk with roller suitcases? If not, will getting a cab for 4 people plus luggage be easy enough at the curb?
