I was on the Spirit in November 2014, Barcelona to Venice. Large bottle of water were sold on the ship for $22 US for 6 bottles. I purchased a 6 pack of large bottles of water at a Toulon France supermarket for 3 Euros. Passengers were able to bring these bottles on board.

There are two months we are looking at - June and August. I think we will go with the latter, as it is low season and accommodation will be cheaper. We will wait a bit longer and compare accommodation etc prices!

 

Now to decide between an inside or oceanview, decisions decisions! :D

WE are a small group from Aussie and we have booked on the Spirit for the 2 Nov 2014 cruise Barcelona to Venice.

We have been to Venice before and we noticed that hotels around the port in Venice in November 2014 were booked out. I do not think there are low season hotel rates in Venice.

We have cruised on larger ships before with MSC around 4200 passengers and we will never cruise on a large ship again, maybe it was only because it was MSC.

I will be on the Spirit, Barcelona to Venice from 2 November 2014 and I wish to determine if NCL supply shuttle bus services (for a fee) at any of the ports where the town is some distance from the port. This would be for passengers who are not going on organised excursions.

Can any passenger going on this cruise prior to 2 November 2014 advise me if shuttle buses are arranged by NCL? This would be appreciated.

Has anyone stayed in Cabin 11532, Deck 11?

Does it have a refridgerator, lounge chair, queen sized bed.

Any problems with this cabin.

We are a group of 4 Aussies travelling on the Fantasia in October and I have a couple of questions:-

1. Did you arrange a drinks package prior to your trip. If not were drinks including water at a reasonable price,

2. Did you have any language problems, with the crew during your cruise,

3. Did you arrange your own excursions or use the MSC arranged excursions,

4. Were there any ports of call that you would not recommend disembarking at and

5. Did you go to Tunis. If so is it worthwhile going on an excursion to this port.
