We are travelling with a large group and as such I will be having the pre-teens and teens sign such a contract. I am also planning a scavenger hunt with safety items on it for them to take pictures of such as:

A ships officer ( you must know what position they hold) Who to go to in an emergency

The kids club Where they will spend some time

Your room so they know how to get there from different locations

The pool rules sign so they know the rules and can be held accountable for them

Adults who are cruising in our party who are not your parents the more adults they know the better- 8 eyes are better than 4, 4 eyes are better than 2~ you get the idea

A candid shot of your parents ( a picture of them with out them knowing you are taking it) a fun way to find your parents

The medical office god forbid they need it

Where was your Muster Drill again god forbid they need it

A ship’s phone not in a cabin with a piece of paper that shows the emergency line for the infirmary if there was an emergency all kids know how to call 911, why should being on a ship be any different.

There will be fun things as well but I feel it is important for the children to show they know these things in a fun way. I will probably add more to it as I think of them.

That is a fantastic OOT bag! And the price is not much considering all you put in them.

I was thinking of doing this also. We are curising with almost 40 people for our vow renewal. I will be putting a link on our wedding site to encourage others to do so, but of course leave it up to them. I fear our cabins will be spread all over the ship and it would be nice for those traveling with us to be able to just look down the hall and find our room. Also It will make the rooms of those in our party stick out for the younger ones that I have a scavenger hunt planned for. I figured it would be a great way to familiarize them with the ship.

What about watching the Pier runners. LOL Those Folks who are running late for the ship and literally run down the pier. You can get some really funny ones.

Lipz~ I love reading your review. You have brought me to tears (happy ones). I am doing my vow renewal on Norwegian's Boston to Bermuda in July 2014 for our 20th. I will be all over the photographer making sure he is there. hehe I am so glad to hear that NCL was trust worthy and the # of As they got in your revew was very reassuring. We did not have a real "wedding" due to my husband's military commitments so this is our ceremony. I have been nervous about putting things in NCLs hands but I am more relaxed after reading your review. I wish you and your wife many happy years of wedded bliss. You make such a beautiful couple.

Hereare a few things you might want to add to your list, these I learned on my last cruise and with some help from previous cruisers

ROOM SPRAY- you are on a ship where all of the waste must be stored while at sea, if there is even a small chance of any of the O'de other passengers that could arise, this will be useful. Also for your own useage.;)

Outlet splitter (very few outlets in the room)

A really good conditioner- sea air and salt water pools is tourturous on your hair

A flashlight or night light~ for potty trips in the night so you do not have to illuminate the whole room.

An extra pair of flip flops- if you break a flop $2 at old navy is way better than the 10-15 you will pay on board.

A clock, my cell phone said 11pm on October 11th while we were in international waters and we sailed in July, but now Ot 11th at 11pm is our cruise time at home as a running joke.

And if you are one who likes to get the party started right away, arrive to port in your beach attire,your room won't be ready right away and your bags show up later.

Also, the hand sanitizer will probably not be necessary, cruise ship tend to sanitize your hands as you enter each room. All cruise we heard " washy washy smilie smilie". So bring hand lotion.

I was wondering if anyone knows what night Norwegian Dawn holds the White Hot Party? I am renewing my vows on board the Day we Leave Bermuda. From what I remember oin the Spirit it was the next night but I want to be sure.Just want to know if I need 2 white outfits ( including my dress):D
