  1. I sailed the Breeze February 19, 2017 and heading out this weekend on her again. The comedy club manager that week cleared the room after each performance. Meaning there was no way to keep your seat for the second show. You have to leave out one door then they opened the other set of doors where people had already lined up to go in. If you made it to the end of the line and there were still seats available you could see the second show. Otherwise they shut the doors when they reached capacity and that was it.

  2. If I have missed this question and answer on here I'm sorry. I've read somewhere on cruise critic sometime ago on a post but, can't find it now as to lockers to store your passport, wallet, extra clothes etc. while you swim with the dolphins.

Can anyone tell me if they lock & are safe or how that works. All in our group will be doing the dolphin excursion so will be no one to hold our items.

    Thanks

    Marcy

We were just there 2/28. There are FREE lockers right by the dolphin swim area. They are kind of small probably 12x12 concrete boxes built into the wall. DH was a bit worried about how secure they were. The front is slightly see through so don't put anything on the front that is vauable or you can make out what it is. I wasn't worried about it and at times we were really far away from it and my $1200 camera was in it.

When you get there, go to the right inside the park and to the end and you will see them. They all have keys in the lock, put your stuff in and shut the door, turn the key and you are set.

  3. Wow, what a story. Your picture gives that place so much more life, way more than the professional photo in the article. That should show you something about how your pictures really touch people and others are sometimes just photographs.

Well done! I can't wait to read more. And just think, you would have missed out on this wild adventure otherwise as the next time (if ever) you get back to Belize he might not be around to tell his story.

  4. Thanks for explaining what HDR is. I just got a Canon T3i for Christmas with the standard IS lenses. I did get a UV and Polarizer filter to help. My first cruise is the end of Feb. so I'm trying to learn as much as I can in 2 months. I start camera classes this weekend too, and I have a friend who has one and we're getting together to shoot on the weekends. I know I won't get the best shots with such a short time to learn, but I've taken some really good ones to me so far.

We'll see what I can come up with.

  5. Food porn rocks! I bet your pics are even better too.

BTW, I had already went to your website as well and read your story. It's very moving as my husband lost his mother to cancer right after we started dating and he's in the same boat as far as pictures and not having many. So I can somewhat relate through him and seeing what he went through to your story. You are doing a wonderful thing through your photos, and know that you are touching many more people than you will ever know.

I'm not even scheduled to sail on the Dream, no do I know if I ever will. We are scheduled on the Magic in February, but I enjoy reading well written reviews of any ship. :)

  6. All I can say is WOW!!! The pics are amazing. You are a wonderful photographer. Great review too.

I totally agree. I feel you tell the story in those pictures and as though I'm right there on the island. There is definately something about your photography skills I've never seen before. Your company name is perfect, because I do feel the Pure Emotion of each photo.

I can't wait to read more. Any links to other cruises in the pastJ?

  7. What an energy you radiate! Your verbal skills just add to the enjoyment of your excellent photography. Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed honest account of your experience. 2+ months can't go by quick enough...

Can I just ask one question - noob to pro: Your photographs have such great contrast, and I know good glass makes all the difference (Along with the obvious natural talent and dedication you have). I only have a Rebel with kit lens (except for the 50mm/1.8), do you use or recommend any filters or do you use a photoshop software to post produce?

I was wondering the same thing about filters. I have UV and am getting a Polarizer before we leave. I want the water shots to look the best they can since it's so pretty. :D I also have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 I just downloaded and am trying to figure out.

  8. Well my first one in 75 days will be with my DH. I've already got a girls one booked with my mom, and two girlfriends for next September. We're all married and will be traveling without our DHs. It's not the end of the world, he does things without me and I go and do without him on occasion. Not every trip has to be taken together. 2 of the DHs are not even interested in cruising, so this is a great way for all of us to experience it together. (It's only a 4 day cruise, not the end of the world)
