  1. I also received this offer and took advantage of it yesterday. As others have indicated, there is no written confirmation of the upgrade and they say it will be automatically applied on board. Customers service advised to keep a copy of the reservation and my purchase receipt confirmation showing the date purchased as proof. Also, customer service said it was a one day only deal that was only good yesterday. Yesterday, the person I spoke with said it was good through 11/8/15.

     

    If they cannot get the dates straight on the offer, how I am really supposed to trust them to actually apply the upgrade. I am very skeptical that this is going to work out as they say and will be disappointed if I have to start my vacation dealing with guest relations. :mad:

  2. I received this offer and jumped on it immediately since we were planning to purchase the ultimate package on board. Now, I am having the same issue with the confirmation not showing the upgrade. I've spoken to two different people. The first told me they will apply the upgrade on board which I do not trust without written confirmation. She transferred me to the cruise planner department with the hope of them having more information. Actually, they knew less about this offer than the first person. She claims the marketing department sends out emails before they are aware of the offer on their end. She advised that I should call back in 24 hours. Since my offer shows limited time only with no end date, I'm concerned that the offer will expire quicker than they can resolve their system issues. I'm starting to wonder if the $70 a person savings is worth my time!

  3. My AT&T phone data worked great in labadee. I was surprised. It actually worked better there than at other ports on the trip. I'm sorry but I do not know about verizon. One other thing to note is that AT&T phones were not working at all on the Silohuette but Verizon had a signal. Texts were spotty and I'm not sure about data. I hope this helps!

  4. Unfortunately not everyone can afford the difference between a guarantee and the next level. We have cruised every December for the last couple of years in AQ. This year our travel budget is not as big. We decided that we would rather be anywhere on the ship than not on the ship at all and did a balcony guarantee. Neither of us are light sleepers or very picky. Right now we are in a 2c on the Silhouette. The obstruction is not being able to look down at the water but we can look out. The difference between the guarantee and an unobstructed view pays for our port excursions. The nice thing is that everyone can choose what works for them and their budget. :D
