  1. We have sailed out of Galveston on the Magic 3 times, and have never cruised without FTTF. To us, it is 100% worth it. You board after Diamond, Platinum, and wedding parties. Your room is guaranteed to be ready. After boarding, we are able to drop our bags and head to deck 11 to order a Fun Ship Special and celebrate being on the boat. (Our tradition.) You get priority tendering if you're visiting a port that has such, you get your own dedicated line at Guest Services, which you would be surprised at how long the "regular" line can get. Priority debark, which really comes in handy if you have an early flight. We will always book FTTF when it's available, until we reach Platinum. :)

So is there a special line to get in when we arrive? Is it well marked? (Had one cruise where we were in a suite and got all the way to screening before they showed us the correct line. Good thing it was a short line!).

  2. I understand that one! We sailed on the Norwegian Sea before she was redeployed and totally forgot to get the model. Since she's been redeployed the Ebay items start at about $50 and go up from there! I settled for things like beer mugs, bells, etc. Just not willing to pay that price!

  3. While on the ship in 2003, we totally forgot to buy the model. Have posted requests to see if someone can pick up for me, but so far no takers. Sad part is they're relocating her out of the line later this year. :(
