DtD (required for a Silver Suite) will include transfers from the airport to the pier and pier to the airport if you use the included (or upgraded business class) air. If you opt out of the air (take the credit), based on our experience with our May cruise, you loose the transfers from the airport to the pier and pier to the airport. However, if you book the SS hotel pre-cruise, the transfer from the hotel to the pier is included. Presumably, if you booked their hotel post-cruise the transfer from.the hotel to the pier would be included.
Thank you. Since we’d be leaving from Florida where we would already be vacationing, DtD with air wouldn’t work, but I could use a pre-cruise hotel if it meant I could book the Silver Suite. I guess I’ll just call SS and ask directly how to get it to work. Thank you all for your help.

So if I understand this correctly, if we want a silver suite, we will need to stay in their hotel pre-cruise? I know I can ask a TA, but I'm not sure I’m going to book. And if I do, I like to feel like I know what I’m doing and not be totally reliant on them.

I'm new Silversea, not to cruising. I can understand the three categories, (door-to-door with flights, without flights, and port to port). However, the cruise I'm looking at, if I look at just port to port, Silver Suite is unavailable. So does that mean that in order to book that category cabin I have to book one of the two others? And would they pick me up at a hotel? (assume the answer is yes). We would be spending time in Florida pre and post cruise (driving from NY,) so pre-cruise transportation isn’t necessary.
Thank you!

Hi all. We got off the eurodam almost a week ago. During the cruise I purchased two photo files (not prints). I saw them while we were on the ship, however, for the life of me I can’t figure out where they are now!
Help?Thanks!

Flight question
i know it’s early, but I love planning and anticipating our trips. We’ll be aboard the splendor Barcelona to Venice in October. Our “home” airport is jfk. As long as we can fly non stop both ways, we’ll go out of any of the three area (JFK, LGA orEWR)
For those who’ve done this trip, what are your experiences?
Oh I should also add this is our first cruise with Regent and I am so excited!!!
Thanks!

You can do it before you cruise. You can buy shipboard credit.
How? I don't see it anywhere on my account. And yes, I am past final payment.

(I swear I searched, didn't find an answer 😉 )
I took advantage of the gift card promotion, went through perfectly. My question now is, how do I apply it to my account? Do I have to wait till I board the ship?
Thanks!

Ok, so there is definitely a Black Friday promo. But has there been a cyber Monday promo? I’m guessing probably not,but no harm in asking, right?
Anf happy thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

We are currently on 848 on Splendor and our balcony has room for 2 chairs a table and full sized lounge chair . It is about 26inches wider than 846 next door
So do you think the same cabin a deck below would be the same?

What is "The Gift of Travel"
Gift of travel is an included booking perk right now.

Answering my own question, per our TA we can get a $750 pp credit if we don’t use it

To be clear, 748 is a flared balcony. Starts narrow and gets wider at the end (though unlike the forward flared balconies, it doesn't reach the full width of the suites behind which are a higher category (D). So, within the F1 suites, 748 has a bit more to offer.
See here: Deck Explorer | Regent Seven Seas Cruises (rssc.com)
Thank you for the clarification 😊

Odd. In the latest brochure we have, we see 850 as being bumped out - but 748 is not.
Is it because it’s a different deck?

(I did try to search, but didn't have any luck)
What happens if you can't take advantage of the included gift of travel? We can't add more days away. Is there a credit if you can't? Or is it just "oh well?"
Thanks again,
Mary Alice

Thank you! That helps a lot in my decision 🙂

Hello! I am thisclose to booking the Splendor for October '23. Right now my TA has a hold on cabin 748. The balcony is on the bump. This affect the size/seating area/enjoyment of the balcony at all?
Thank you for your help,

Wine
in Viking Ocean
Oh shoot! I can’t edit, either! At any rate, I was torn between Viking and regent, and after doing some research tonight Viking seems to be winning 😊 Our first Mediterranean cruise!
-
Gpilon, thanks for the reply! Dino on a ship would be fantastic! I was hoping that on a Med. raise they’d have more of a focus on the Italian wines. Wonder why they don’t publish what they have.
-
I’ve got (a very important) question 😂 I’m in the early stages of planning our first Regent cruise. The only real question is the wine on board. Is there a list somewhere of both bottles and by the glass? Husband drinks almost exclusively Italian wine, so I’d like to be able to show him possible wines.
Cheers!
Thank you!

Hi all. I'm looking at booking a partial transit thru the panama canal in January. Right now, the HAL price is quite a bit lower than the big box I usually use, which I find strange. If I book through HAL, will I be able to transfer the booking at a later date to said big box to get their incentive (at the same price as HAL)? Do I have only a short window to do so?
Quality of food?
in Viking Ocean
Posted
First, I know food is so very subjective, what I like you may find repulsive, but in general..... I'm looking at Panama Canal on (I think?) Mars. We recently cruised Regent Splendor and Oceania Vista (for reference) and loved them both, for food and the ship. From what I've been able to research, I think I'll love the ship, but I haven't been able to find much about the food or any sample menus. And I'm unclear about how many specialty restaurants there are. I have more questions, but I'll keep this to food related for now.
Help?
Thanks!
