  1. My husband recently canceled one cruise we were planning and we were told that we had a future cruise credit. He doesn’t remember/deleted any email he may have received with information on this. We are looking to book another cruise. How do we redeem this? Can I book online and then call or do I need to call to book? Thanks

  2. If you can get a cabana get one! We were there a week and a half ago and had Cabana #10 and loved it! It was so nice to have shade and some snacks. I told my husband that I would rent it ago just to get a floaty. Lol. Ours was super close to the rest room it was a little walk to the bar but there are some staff walking the beach with beer and once he knew what we wanted he always made sure he had some and stopped by frequently. We also really enjoyed the cabana at lunch as the picnic area was very busy when we went to get food so it was so nice to be able to carry our food back to the cabana and have a nice comfy quiet place for lunch!

  3. Coolcruiser777 was parking ad for cash paying customers as well?

They don't open the parking lot until a certain time. It was noon for us but the pride got in late that morning so I don't know what it usually is. They did allow priority boarding to park early though. We had fttf so we got in around 1130/1145 to park. There was no wait then. You could tell from on board that the cash line did move faster than the credit line.

  4. Thanks for the information, but I wanted to clarify a few things. So you are saying that the regular check-in line blocked the entrance to the priority (platinum, FTTF, suites) check-in doors and in order to get in the priority entrance you had to fight through those in the regular check-in line? When was your boarding information checked for priority and was the priority entrance clearly marked? Thanks.

We were on the same sailing and I just wanted to add. We arrived early the lot was closed until 12 however if you had priority boarding the let you through to park. We parked around 1145. They allowed priority guests to begin checking in at 12 but guests with regular check in we're outside in line until there boarding time. The line did get VERY long at one point in the afternoon!

  5. Was just there Friday! Beautiful as always!!! Cannot imagine doing anything else in Cozumel!!! Going back in November!!! The did say while we were there this time that they did take Credit cards now but we always pay in USD so I don't know if there is a charge. They also now have WIFI for a small charge ( I think they said 5 USD but not certain) and the taxi is now $16 for up to 4 people one way.

  6. There was description when I went to book a few weeks ago for the Conquest and in the little info box on the side of the description said only 1 per cabin. There were 4 in our cabin and we call got a FTTF sticker on our S&S card and never had problem with booking the 1 for the 4 of us.

  7. We used it last week and I will most deinitely be using it from now on!!! Got on the ship fast and got us on our way to NOLA from Mobile on one of the first buses (I wouldn't say fast though LOL). We also had several things we had to stop by guest services for this trip and it was great not having to stand in that line!!!

  8. In Jamaica we went to an Sunset Beach resort and AI we booked through Island Marketing and had a blast. The pools were beautiful and the beach was nice. There was a ton of food to choose from and the drinks were yummy with a swim up bar.

I was worried about Coz the first time too but if you look at the Department of States website Cozumel is not included in with the rest of Mexico for being unsafe to travel too. We went to Nachi coccum and loved it. I am going back there when I cruise in June. It is a great beach that only allows 100 people total a day. It has a pool with swim up bar and an amazingly beautiful beach. It is also AI and includes very good drinks and a 3 course meal. Our Waiter on the beach never let our drink get empty before he brought us another and he brought shots of tequila with almost every drink!

I think I wore jeans to the dining room on the very last night and no one said anything and I honestly didnt notice if anyone wore them any other night because I honestly was on vacation and didnt care what others wore. LOL I just wanted to have fun and wanted others to do the same and if you think you would have more fun in jeans then I say go for it. I would just recommend being a little dressier on formal nights or eating at the buffet.

The pools on our ship and on all carnival ships as far as I know are closed down at night they always had 1 pool and 1 set of hot tubs open til midnight. I don't know about other cruise lines.

Hope this helps! If I can give any advice at all it would be don't stress over it! I tried to plan everything before our first one and once we got there I realized that all i really wanted to do was relax and have a good time and everything else worked itself out!

oh and out of those 3 islands the Caymans are the most expensive!!!

  9. I am a travel nurse in ICU and trauma. I looked in to that before I started traveling and decided it wasn't for me. Very long hours and not as much of a team if something goes wrong but the main reason it wasn't for me is because I figured if I am on a cruise ship working like crazy for 6-10 months out of a year then I don't think I would enjoy going on a cruise during my time off!!!! So instead I decided to travel nurse for good money in awesome places and every 13 weeks I can take time off and cruise if I want! I am planning on going on 2 maybe 3 this year and I will be relaxing the entire cruise!!! NOT WORKING!!!! Good luck in your career and in cruise nursing if you decide its for you!
