  1. We will be taking our family (kids & 4 grandkids) on a cruise next year. We are Diamond Plus on Royal Caribbean so we're pretty "loyal to Royal" but we want the most fun for the young grandkids. We are torn between 3 cruiselines....either staying with RCCL on Oasis, or should we stray to either Norwegian Epic or Carnival Magic. We need to leave out of Port Canaveral so those 3 will be homeported there next November. I want to make sure our grandkids (who will be 8, 6, 3, & 2) will have enough to do because of their young ages. I'm not worried about the adult kids and us...we can have a good time on any cruise :) Any recommendations as to which ship would be best for us?

  2. Thank you all for your input and for sharing experiences of your own granchildren...I really appreciate it. I will take your suggestion and also ask on the family board and Norwegian board. We have always been easy mannered cruisers always focusing on the positives on a cruise, and firmly believe there is no such thing as a bad time or bad treatment on any cruise. I know we would enjoy any cruiseline we go on because we are with family :)

  3. We are very loyal to Royal (Diamond Plus) and can't say enough good things about our cruises with them. We want to take our 4 adult kids and 4 grandkids (ages 8, 6, 3, 2) on a 7 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean next year and our first inclination was to book the Oasis when she comes to Port Canaveral (we live locally). However; I cannot believe we're considering this, we have thought about Norwegian Epic (also coming to Port Canaveral) because it seems that ship has the slides, bowling, and many other things the kids & grandkids would love to do. We are torn...any suggestions from those of you who have sailed the Epic?
