Booked two rooms, one for us and the other for inlaws

i used an FCD for our room - did NOT get a cancellation email

in laws put down a cash deposit, they received the email 

both rooms were linked together and my cruise is still showing up when I check princess online. 

Forgot to mention that there is a ROV group ceremony but it is in the Piazza and anyone can join in. It was held on the last or next to last night of the cruise.   Your ROV will be completely private.  

We just renewed our vows a few days ago.  When we arrived in our room there was a letter on the bed asking us to go to the passenger service desk for a meeting with the planner.  We had asked for a  a sea day and was told the captain was not able to do it on that day.  We were told that the next day was available which was a sea day also and formal night.  Ceremony was 5:30.  Rec'd a phone call from photo department if we wanted to meet with them 1/2 hour before for some photos and video.    Ceremony was very well done, bouquet for me and a lapel flower for DH.  More pictures and video during this time.  Invitations were sent to anyone you wanted to invite.  Lots of perks with the package.  Don't want to spoil the surprises.  Afterwards, we had an interview with video and answered questions about each other, etc to be included with the video we purchased.    Can't say enough about how well this was done.   

Do not miss the show bravo. It was one of the best shows I've seen on princess. I have patters but no scanner if you need to know something specific just let me know.

Just off the Caribbean. New robes in all the rooms fit wonderfully. Probably got new robes when they came out of drydock

10/31 Cruise. Mini suite on dolphin. Room was immaculate and kept that way. Rest of the ship was also very clean. No odors. Had a helicopter evacuation. Was kept very informed by the captain. Staff very pleasant. Most meals were very good. Some menus not to my liking. I never went hungry. Have fun you're on vacation.

Good news! Princess just called and we got a category MB Dolphin mid forward for $300. Our first mini suite ever! Can't wait for DH to come home and share the news.

Email from TA offering an upsell to mini suite on 10/31. If we get lucky and get it, are there any areas to avoid.

It is always packed in the checked luggage. Never a problem. Although once on a cruise to New England and Canada it was in DH pocket and we could not get into one site on the hop on/off buses. Can't remember the name but could not pass the security check with it in his pocket. I took possession and sat on a bench while DH went on the old ship and had a great time. I was just as happy be sitting on the bench.

Had a similar problem. Wanted to apply cash back to my credit card at the 2%bonus. Took a few months and many followup calls but it was finally applied. Call 866-928-3106. This will let you bypass the call center and connect you to someone in a supervising position. Good luck and keep following up.

Just an update. See my post #52. Finally received my statement credit for a few$$$ short of 3,000. Checked my account today and there it was. Noticed yesterday that all my points disappeared so I was hopeful. They did use all the points I had up to date.

Persistence pays off. Hopefully, things will go smoothly from here on in. For anyone still having an issue, you can call 866-928-3106. This number will get you to the managers desk and you will avoid the call center.

Same issue here. Case has been expedited. Was told it would be credited by Friday last week. This was call number 4. Called today since I received no credits. Points finally did show up but I got the same story too that I needed 200,000 points to redeem at 2%. I have 144,600. Was told to call again on Friday 2/3 to see what happens. My 180 days has only 14 left. What happens if they don't fix it in 14 days. So frustrating. Will look into a new reward card when all is straightened out, if ever. Any recommendations?

Someone mentioned the train station kiosk doesn't take US $. But we had another experience. Used my debit card and the machine would not take it. Used credit card and it wanted a PIN number. Did not have one. And of course did not have Canadian $. A Canadian angel told us they used pins in Canada and bought us tickets to the airport. Her treat. She would not take US $ so told her the money would go to the poor box in our church.

There are good people all over. Thank you my Canadian angel!

Just off the Coral 7/10. We had a printed guide just like the old days. It was very helpful.

I feel better now. We are leaving on the 28th and got an email from our TA today that were were switched to the Bear. We're there for 2 nights before we go to Denali so for 2 nights we could do anything. At our suggestion, we are traveling with family - first time cruisers - and want everything to be nice for them

Originally scheduled to stay at the Fairbanks hotel but found out today it was changed to the bear hotel. Has anyone stayed at the bear and what was it like. Thank you

Faxed paperwork at 1:30pm and by 5:30 it was on my account. WOW!

On board now. Tomorrow is the last day. Thought you might like to know that there is a TV guide in the room. Easier to figure out programs.

Happy hour in Wheelhouse Bar from 3-4pm and Explorer Lounge 10-11pm. Drinks are buy one get one free. It's been real busy.

Lots and lots of new cruisers. Only 49 elite passengers. Full bathroom set up for elite - gel mask, linen spray, etc.

Staff has been very friendly as usual. They seem to love this ship.

If you get a chance, the comedian is very funny. Forgot first name but last is Wyler. Laugh out loud funny.

Also, Jackie Wilson's son did a tribute show to his father and it was fantastic. Try not to miss these.

Also heard Dance was very good.

Pub lunch was only one day. Excellent

Food has been very good. Bring a wrap - dinning room is cool.

All in all a very relaxing trip. Have fun
