  1. This is my first time staying in a Spa Room; I am sailing on the Carnival Breeze. I am wondering what kind of offers/discounts may be offered on the ship for spa treatments. I am anxious to book my treatments ahead of time with the 30%/20%/10% online discount but wondering if I will get better deals if I wait until I board. I'm not super picky about the times or treatments. Thanks for your advice.

  2. We just stayed in a deluxe OV on the Magic. I mistakenly thought that there were 2 toilets when I booked this room but there is only one. You have a bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet and then another bathroom with a sink and tub with a shower head as well. It was handy I guess. We put all of the toothbrushes in the bathroom without the toilet so there was never a conflict between someone using the toilet and someone needing to brush their teeth :)

  3. Thanks for the review! This helps us make our decision!

They merged it with another one so it is hard to find. here it is.

    Junkanoo Beach-Nassau - Great Beach!!

For everyone that wondered if Junkanoo is a good beach to spend the day at, I am telling you it is Great!!!! After many times in Nassau we decided to try Junkanoo this weekend. We loved it, and plan to go to that beach from now on when in Nassau. I will try to give you all the specifics

    1. Took about 25 minutes to walk their from the cruise ship. Easy walk, sidewalks the entire way.

    2. There are many vendors that rent chairs, loungers, umbrellas. Some in better shape than others. We paid $10 pp for loungers and did not get an umbrella which would have been $15. other vendors had nicer loungers and 2 loungers, umbrella and table were $40. We checked another vendor and their loungers (nice ones) were $12 pp and $15 for the umbrella. So lots to choose from. Could also rent chairs for less.

    3. Bathrooms were spotless. So clean I could not believe it

    4. Beach - beautiful white sand. yes, there are small rocks/pebbles as you are entering the water, but nothing major. I walked barefoot and most of the other people out there were also barefott. Saw a few with water shoes, but not many.

    5. Have read many stories about glass on the beach. I think we saw 3 pieces of sea glass all day. Sea glass is not sharp and is not going to hurt you. So beach is very safe

    6. Other than one lady that asked if we want to look at necklasses, no one bothered us the entire day

    7. There are cops patrolling the sidewalk in front of the beach all day, so again very safe

    8. Totally fun watching the locals and tourist jump of the seawall, we loved watching that all day

    9. Drink prices were very reasonable-$3 for a beer and I think $7 for a frozen (big one) drink. There are 2 or 3 different bars to get drinks from

    10. Food, very reasonable. The kiosk by where we sat had Jerk Chicken $6, hotdog $3, hamburger $4, Fish $7 and up. Another place had Counch Fritters 8 for $4 as well as some other food. So easy to get a quick bite. The Jerk Chicken was fantastic, some of the best sauce I have ever had. Guys makes it himself so I bought a bottle from him to bring home. Yum!

Overall, it is nice to FINALLY find a beach in Nassau that has calm, crystal clear water, clean beach, and food/drink without paying an arm and a leg to one of the resorts!

Any other questions, I will try to answer them for you.
