Thanks! I believe I will just go for it and try it out. I got over eating alone in the dining room. Want to enjoy my cruise and not let anything get in the way!

Has anyone ever dined solo in the steakhouse? I am worried I would be awkward being alone in this dining area. Any experience with this?

When I cruise solo I always choose ATD...they always ask me if I want to sit alone or share a table. I always eat alone because I like to enjoy my meal and not play 20 questions every night at dinner. I have never been turned away or forced to sit with others. Nice time to enjoy a good meal and relax for me!

Thanks for fast reply...appreciate it. I wanted to try HAL for a while.

Has anyone had any experience of dining on HAL as a single? How hard is it to request a single table for myself. Thanks for any help as I have never said HAL before.

Kiss on the lips, hands down!

Just bought the O2 fan on Amazon to try on my trip. Looks like it is pretty flat and esy to pack in suitcase. Takes batteries or electric cord. We'll see!

I have been reading about how warm the cabins are lately. I was on Freedom in February and nearly roasted. Will the cruiseline let you carry your own fan onboard or let you borrow one for the cruise? Did the fan help with temps?

Just left Fantasy yesterday...there is shampoo and body wash in shower for your use. ALso had 4 travel size tubes of Arm and Hammer toothpaste, travel size shampoo and conditioner and body wash, and individual no name soap.Have fun, we did!

We chose a cove balcony this time on the Dream and loved it. It is so private and close to the water. You did have a ways to go to get to Lido and pools, but the privacy more than made up for it. The last 2 days of the cruise had some moisture on the balcony but I took my beach towel and cleaned rails and chair.

My very first cruise was on BRB Oceanic...it had the Looney Tunes characters and was for 3 days to the Bahamas...Nassau and Port Lucaya. True, you cannot compare it to the ships that are being built now. But for a first timer, the ship and its crew were fantastic. I was hooked! I have not stopped cruising since. A true cruise addict was born on the BWB!!

Graham: please let us know when DVD is ready...I cracked up on the Star Wars bit you did. Actually I cracked up on almost everything you did! But I have a warped sense of humor. I guess I will have to try RCCL now that you abandoned ship so to speak!

I had a cove balcony on the Breeze under the galley...never again. Noise all night long and when you tried to take a nap to make up for lack of sleep, yes, more noise. It never stopped. I love the cove balcony but careful about location of stateroom from now on.
