  1. I just used the storage at Copenhagen Central Station in early July. Cash and credit are both accepted. For lockers the credit card readers were not operating for most of them; cash was necessary (coins are better, I'm not sure how much change the machine would give). For the manned storage, you could pay with cash or card. Of note, when I went to get my luggage (about 1400) there was a long line (maybe a 15 min wait) at the manned storage so I was glad I had put my bags in a locker and didn't have to wait.

  2. I was there in Novebmer 2014 and bought the Berlin Pass.

I know the transportation piece could be used separtely (I did it); the transporation tickets are individual day passes provided in the package and are not linked to any other element.

I don't remember if the other elements were linked, I think the museum card was scanned but other elements had a date written (I'm just not certain). The HOHO ticket was a paper coupon you gave to the driver/guide and they printed out a HOHO ticket for you (completely separate from the museum and transport tickets).

I'd recommend really looking at what is offered in this package before buying it. I am usually a fan of these city 'passes' but was dissappointed in the one for Berlin. The HOHO bus they partner with was the one with the fewest busses and shortest routes. The place to pick-up the pass has limited hours and they were not very helpful in giving maps and/or other information (more focussed on trying to sell me tickets to other things). The museum pass and transportation tickets are good, but can be bought separately along the way.

No matter what you decide, have fun and enjoy. Berlin is a fantastic city.
