  1. Thanks everyone.   I called them up and they were able to provide the booking code which let me find out what was included.   Most of the casino offers I've gotten don't include a DOU card, but I thought I remembered that this one did.      I normally only bet on the pop-a-matic craps bubble so I'm shocked they'd offer me free drinks but I'll take it.     I may gamble a bit more at the video poker at the bar.

  2. We're cruising on the Triumph on February 18th. One of our travel companions is really interested in the musicians(bands, pianos, duets, one man bands, Kazoo wunderkinds) that are onboard. Does anyone recently off of the Triumph know what musicians are playing?

  3. Later this month we're doing the Viking Danube Waltz from Budapest to Passau. But we can't seem to find any schedule more detailed than the one here. I know some of the stops are all day and some are evening only. I'd like to be able to plan a bit more on what to do in town but that's hard without an actual arrival/departure schedule.

Is there a site that I'm missing with this information?

  4. One of my favorite things to do on a carnival ship is to curl up and read in the big circular loungers or the nice wide woven chairs in serenity. It looks like Triumph doesn't have a serenity area. Any chance that those comfy outdoor chairs are on the ship and just hiding on another outdoor deck? Reading on the blue loungers just isn't as comfortable.

  5. Thanks. I am not normally one who has to be first on the ship, I just want to figure out what to do from the time we land (7:30 am) till 11 or 12.

My husband and I are also normally there at the port crazy early. Last year we were able to drop off our luggage around 9 but they didn't open up the cruise terminal to check people in until about 9:30. We weren't on the boat till 11:30 or so (and we had FttF).

There is nothing walkable from the port (and the building itself is pretty bland) so if you aren't a "got to get on the ship ASAP" person I'd find another way to entertain yourselves for a bit. You could also look at taking the light rail to the inner harbor and taking a taxi from there.

  6. Before my question I would like to point out that I AM legal drinking age and am not asking for your opinion into my morals or character. That being said my question is this...

Can you use cruise cash or any other program where how many drinks you buy comes on a separate statement from your sign and sail account. My husband thinks that I "partake" too much and I really don't want to be arguing with him about this and neither of us enjoy our cruise. He is very OCD and I am sure that he will be examining the account daily and would rather he not be keeping a tally on me. :D

If you really want to hide your drinking from your husband you could have two totally separate on board accounts going to two separate credit cards.

  7. You can get a fountain soda at any bar. No need to carry around the souvenir cup.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply. My DH gets a bit seasick and needs some ginger ale now and then. Hopefully he'll be able to get that.
