  1. In May 2013, on my daughter's Senior trip, we did the Butts Up private tour. It was lots of fun!! They picked us up in an air conditioned very comfortable bus. not a van.. a big bus. We had about 30 ppl in our party. We did the ATV tubing combo. The ATV tour was not anything special especially if you already own or ride 4 wheelers yourself. But the cave tubing was great! I highly recommend the Butts Up tour company. Very professional. They severed tamales for lunch with a cold drink... very tasty, but not extremely filling for some of the guys.

I wore neoprene shoes that have a rubber sole. The hike is not that big of a deal.. not steep or slick, etc. very well traveled path. My point is, you could wear your tennis shoes without them getting nasty, or if you have any Tevas, Keens, etc, they would be perfect. I wouldn't take a cameral unless its the water proof kind. The guide will take photos of you with your camera, but I wouldn't trust it unless it is water proof. We all wore our swim suits on the rafts. They do lock everything in the bus, so you could leave your camera, etc. in there during the float, if you are taking it for the zipline, etc.

  2. From what I remember (cave tubing excursion in May 2013) we left our bags in the bus before we hiked to the tubes. I am not sure if the guy who guides us to the tubes would be able to keep your things for you. The problem is, you exit the tubes down the river and have to walk some more back to the van. So you will probably need it then. Can you not put it in a water proof bag and hold it like he suggested? The water is not deep and you don't get wet, just splashed a little. Hope this helps.

  3. Thanks for the responses, and thanks to those who defended my question about unpacking. I really don't understand why people feel the need to get on here and freak out and make negative comments about other people's questions. Cruise Critic should be fun, sheesh.

I totally agree! How rude!.. and totally NONE of his business. And besides, maybe the person asking might have special needs. Don't judge...

  4. Loved your review! We are booked in May. Can't wait! We downloaded the concierge app. I'm wondering if you messaged each other during the cruise using the app and if so, what the charges were to do that? Is the Vibe adults only?

Your review will help me know how to plan dinner around some of the activities. Thanks for taking the time to do it!

  5. We watched a ncl video about the haven, wow. With all of the kids sale free and freesome sales we couldnt pass it up! So having never been in the haven I have a few questions :)

    1. In the video it shows a private spa for haven guests... it looks like the normal spa to me...so Im confused: what is this?

    2. The Haven resteraunt... is this instead of cagneys for bfast and lunch? Same menu?

    3. Is it hard to get one of the awsome looking beds or clam shells in your experience?

Im sure that I will have more ques...lol

    Thanks for your replies!!

I am curious as to what video you watched. Was it on Youtube? I would like to watch it as well. We just booked a haven 2 bedroom. I am like you, we couldn't pass up the great give aways either! Also, are the clam shell beds you are referring to in the haven courtyard? Did you see them on the video as well? Thanks!

We always just park at the port, on op of the cruise terminal. It costs a little more than other locations but is too convenient for us. I did notice this sign for the first time

hmmm. but we've never had a problem there. It should be patrolled by the regular port security, but no place is absolutely secure.

is the name of the parking lot "Central Parking"? Is it easy to find? sounds very convenient.
