I would suggest the Canon SX series. I use the SX720 and have had great results while on a cruise.

I have not seen this posted yet, but remember that while you can select any delivery time, it normally will not be delivered the first half hour (or so) that the dining room is open for dinner. I think this is due to having to get the entrees prepared for everyone near the same time (for Early dining). In our latest test, they told us delivery would not be prior to 6 PM.

 

By the way, HAL is now putting the dinner menu on the TVs (not all ships have this yet).

On the Westerdam last October the Menu on the TV was different from the MDR

dramamine at night, bonine during the day and wrist sea bands 24 hours a day

My friend and I will be sailing on November 19th on the Veendam on the 11-day Cuban Explorer. This will be my third HAL cruise Alaska (2012) and Italy/Greece (2017) both of them on the Westerdam.

gel clings WILL leave a stain. It will not come off

last October I had a 11am flight Rome to JFK. no problems except for JFK avoid JFK if you can

just got off the Westerdam on the 26th. The menu was posted outside the dinning room and on your TV. The problem is that they don't match. What is posted on TV is not always what they were serving.

I just came back from the Westerdam last week. I walk all the hallways on both side on all levals. The 5th leval does not have enought room for you to leave your scooter outside your cabin
