The Haven actually MADE our cruise on the Escape. We loved it and used it and spent a lot of time there. I say got for it! You won't regret it!

I always tell them when booking my massage that I prefer to skip the sales pitch

All the cabs will try to take you to Cane beach. My BIL and family went and said it was crowded. My husband and I took a cab to Brewers bay Beach. Nice and quiet. lil snack bar and eatery. $8 pp each way. Beautiful!

We got to the port about 11 am was guided to a special haven room where we could sit relax, enjoy snacks. We got our key cards in this room. Then we went to a haven holding area. We were on the ship about 11;45. Our room was ready.

Th e water on NCL is very expensive. We brought a case on board and taped a luggage tag. It was delivered to our suite.

I'm sure someone more experienced than I will get back to you, but what I've read on these boards indicates that your best bet is to buy a case (all sealed up in the shrink wrap), slap a luggage tag on it, and have it loaded with your other luggage.

We sailed in that suite around the Panama Canal. Only vibration I remember was when we arrived or departed a port. Lovely suite! Enjoy!

Cruiseransier - you are a very bad boy or girl. Do you know how much time I've spent/wasted watching and dreaming? I was planning on surprising my SO with a suite, but I couldn't hold in the excitement any more and showed him your video! We're next door to the the cabin you did the video of. Am I right in thinking that in 10228 the bed will be on the right when you walk in? And I don't remember the date of your trip - did you have padded loungers?

Yes they did have padded loungers. It shows them in the you tube video

We always sail in an Aft Suite. We usually book 2 years out and make payments on it. By the time we sail we like to have also paid off our gratuities and any shore excursions.

I'm curious what you think you might want to drink that won't be covered. There aren't that many drinks over the price point.

I drink Martinis. I heard they are not covered.:mad:

We booked the Escape for Feb 2016 also. Booked an Aft suite. Gives us PLENTY of time to pay for it!:D
