  1. May i ask for a favor from those who sail today, would you be able to find out if MSC offers guarantee departure for excursion ended at the airport ?   This excursion mentioned a minimum of 30 participants and not much other info.  I believe it's 3.5 hours, not 35 hours ! I will be travelling solo and won't have a car, don't want to book an excursion that would be cancelled at the last minute.

  2. I had a room on floor 14 and I loved it. I never had to take the elevator unless I was going to the promenade/ Central Park deck etc. I had the basketball court and in an occasion a whirlpool and to be honest I never heard a noise. I'm outside my cabin most of the time but I'm there after 1am and it was quite.

Than you Mcatmcat. I did a bit more searching, seem like there were mixed views on the location. We never stay in an inside balcony before so we thought to it give a try, plus it's the only connecting cabin that works for us at the moment.

  3. I was just at that hotel the last couple of nights, down there for a seminar. I'd not hesitate to stay there again; my room was clean & comfortable, the staff was friendly. Yes, it's dated - something I'm sure won't change if it's true that the hotel is scheduled for demolition - but I was perfectly happy there.

Thanks for sharing your experience staying at Hilton SeaPA1, I feel a lot better now knowing it's not that bad, maybe just depending on specific room or floor. I'm not expecting much consider it's cheaper than some other hotels, just a clean place to stay for the night. Maybe I'm just overreacting, will try not to let this bother me too much and concentrate on planning for the cruise which comes up with a few weeks.

  4. Can you call Expedia and make a change of some kind? I'd guess you would be luckier with them than with Priceline customer service. Offer to rebook something else with Expedia due to the poor reviews and horror stories. I'd say something about standing up for their reputation, disappointed in the lack of quality hotel...blah blah. Can't hurt to ask.;)

Hi Eandj, I did call and the Expedia customer rep. I talked to said there's nothing they can do at the moment (which I don't quite believe). If the room condition turns out to be really bad, then we can submit a request for some sort of refund.

  5. The 3* unnamed hotel in Expedia is the Hilton FFL airport, that is what we got. Given the bad reviews I just read on tripadvisors, we are still deciding whether to put up with it for the one night since we won't get there till 10 PM and leaving the next morning for our cruise, or take the loss and book another hotel. We were always happy with the ones booked through unnamed till now.

  6. I've been looking for cruise with low single supplement and just found it with Royal Caribbean Voyager of the seas - Jan 7 departure, please note that you have to be past passenger to get the special rate, one can get an occean view room for about 800+taxes.

Just want to share my find with everyone here, i did not think it was possible to find cruise with less than 200% supplement till i found this thread.
