  1. Unlimited is the way to go. Hand it to Stewart at 0700; it'll hanging (or neatly folded in a basket) in your cabin at 1700 that evening. They even iron my boxers and wife's panties. She told me, "Don't even ask!' It is so much nicer to pack clean clothing for the return trip rather than a mountain of dirty ones. This way, you'll only have dirty what you wore the day before disembarkation, and what you are wearing to go home in.

Just don't forget to leave out a complete set of clean clothing or you'll be disembarking (I've seen it done!) in your (newly purchased) bath robe.

  2. Everything is ok (case intensional) but we really miss cruising. Our last one was January 2, 2020 of this year and we are so thankful we got ONE this year.

We were scheduled to go to Alaska in May and do a Transatlantic in September/October. We'd have been packing right now for the trip as we were going to spend a week in London and a week in Rome before embarking. Trip we had scheduled in December as replacement for those is cancelled also.

We are hoping the cruises we've got scheduled in January (Southern Caribbean) and May (Alaska!) this year embark and go. Based on the newest information just revealed from CDC on actual death rates apparently this disease is not as bad as we were told.

Hopefully NOW the world and cruising will open back up. Can't wait until we are standing on our veranda opening our bottle of Asti and toasting as we leave Fort Lauderdale; then going to a wonderful dinner in the Pinnacle to start our cruise!

By the Way: If you haven't completed the 'Questionnaire" on cruising CDC is asking you to send it, PLEASE DO! I suspect mine will end on the floor of the mail reviewing room, as I pulled no punches in answering questions (many totally inane like "How much does a COVID19 test cost?" I'd think they would KNOW!) to make it totally clear we should begin cruising NOW with a few simple cautions!

  3. I miss most the Marvelous Veranda Room Service Breakfasts on those "dam" ships. With Mimosas to kick off another Marvelous Cruise day. The smiling cabin Stewart, the smiling friendly folks all over the providing great service, the Cleanliness, & the motion of the ship... Great Entertainment! Great Relaxation! Not a dish to wash or bed to make! Just got out cancellation of our TA cruise from Rome in October. 😭
