One thing I do is always drink thru a straw rather than touching lips to glass. Also use hand wipes on back of chair and table before eating. And we use hand cleanser after menus or condiments.we carry both wipes and liquid cleanser. We also Lysol cabin first thing then go for lunch before unpacking.

Booked into LGA 10/14/17. Flying in night b4 cruise. No sightseeing planned as we have been NY many times. 2 seniors. Prefer reasonable but NY is NY.

Any tips for hotel and transfers out of Brooklyn?

Ours were received after we arrived home. They are apparently areonly mailed at certain ports of call.

Just returned from a 15 day cruise on Grand Princess. Had Club Class Dining and it was a nice perk. Food no different than anytime dining except for one special each night. Yes there are lines during early dining hours, but that has always existed. Most nights tables in Club Class were in use for two servings. There were a couple of nights with empty tables but that was usually a long port day. Personally find it a nice advantage and YES we do pay more for the privilege.

We have always added something to the card (in mini suites) and it has always been delivered just as requested.

Can you order a bottle of wine delivered to the room? Do they charge per centage or do we just tip waiter?

We know it will be a car service but hoped for recommendation by some people in the area.

Need transportation from private residence in Gilroy CA to Grand Princess's pier 27. On 3/1017. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

We need to find a shuttle service to pick us up at a Gilroy CA residence and take us to the Grand Princess in SFO on March 25. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Can anyone who has been on this cruise give some clues as to best items to pack. How cold does it get? How warm? Really in a quandry as I try to plan ahead. Thanks so much

Oh the poor put upon "regular "cruisers. We travel less often and spend the money for a full suite and enjoy every moment of the special perks. Has nothing to do with "class" nor feeling "superior" but with a quality vacation. If someone resents us so be it but we will walk to the head of the line whenever possible and enjoy maximizing each and every extra treatment we are given. Why would we expect the same treatment as someone who pays thousands less than we do? Go figure-

Regal and Caribbean for sure. Having done both there is no comparison.

Second Holiday Inn on 17th. Have stayed multiple times. Close and convenient to everything. Wine to carry on restsurants etc. manager Gloria is hands on and great.

When are they in dry dock and what is being done?

We too were on this cruise and the ferry excursion. Have been on Princess many times and expected things to be similar but on smaller scale. Embarkation was fine until the long walk to elevator to go to cabin. My husband has a hip,problem and uses a cane - made no difference. He was in real pain before we got to cabin. They should be more "special needs" conscious. Crew were great. We had anytime dining but called each day for reservations - they always seated us at a 2 top close to the entrance so we did not have to walk so far. Great waiters and had same ones each night. The excursion really was a farce. Totally miserable from start to finish. In spite of the promised refund we lost a total day of our vacation. The ferry was dirty and disorganized. Could not even see out of the dirty Windows. Did not speak to one satisfied person during the entire excursion. All being said we would never do or recommend the Island Princess but we will continue to cruise Princess for their destinations.

We used Smart-2 Shuttle service Orlando and they are excellent. I am a travel agent and will recommend them to my clients going forward. Clean new vans and excellent on time service.

Is breakfast or lunch for Suite guest in Chops extra,money or included?

When Freedom docks in Western Caribbean are they on ship time or island time? Need to know to book non-ship excursions. thx

Is it possible to purchase OBC before cruising?

Is the breakfast and lunch in the specialty restaurant free for those in the Owners Suite? Also has anyone had experience with the Luggage Valet service?

Yes the Anthem did just replace the Librrty. Hometown Denver and we want something other than Bermuda, Bahamas etc. love Fall colors. Put an option on the Anthem junior spa suite last night and am doing some more research on Quantum class before depositing. Seems main issue Is DD. Not sure we would like that.:)

Grandeur vs Liberty for New England Canada in 2016? Will be booking mini suite.
