We used an agent and got a substantial on board credit. Once booked, we used the Regents confirmation and web site to book excursions, dinner reservations. Also used Regent's to book business class air. Once they assigned (75 days prior to sailing date) we have access to the airline reservation for each airline to choose or change seat assignments, apply FF# etc.
Only an advantage as I see it.

I have a referral coupon available for first time seabourn cruiser. Would prefer US based so I can send to you.
Please reply with email address and I will contact you.
Thanks

Shiela, You were so kind as to provide us with a first time referral discount certificate for our TA cruise we were on together in March. Unfortunately, as you recall, I didn't get it. While in fact I did! It fell down the side of an overstuffed chair and I found it today!
If you want to email me, I would be happy to send to someone else you want to give it to so you can get credit. Would be best to send to someone in the US.
Thanks

Looking at Regent for the first time
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises

We are booked on our first Regent cruise after several on Seabourne. We booked with Regents air for the "free" business class air. Just got our routing and not bad(Klm lax-lis and Emirates cpt to lax both with only one connection). If you don't like the routing they present, for $175 you can ask for alternate routing, plus any additional fare if Regents contract is not as beneficial. Once they provide booking you work directly with airlines for seats, etc.
