We are on this cruise, too. We are flying into LAX from Seattle on Friday and staying near the port as well. So excited to get away and relax. 

We will be on Solstice on April 8. For those of you who used the gym…..have they replaced the pedals on the Pelotons so you can wear regular shoes or do I need to bring my cycle shoes?

For all of you who have been on Solstice…we are on the April 8 sailing. Has anyone spent time in the Persian Garden? How is it? In aqua class are all of the fitness classes included? I went in last night to book specialty restaurants, and there were no reservations before 9:30. Do they hold some reservations back or are we out of luck?

Any other tips? We last cruised mid-February of 2020. Excited to return to Celebrity after many years! Our plan is to stay on the ship this time-we have done this itinerary and just want to chill and relax.

We did a California coast cruise a couple of years ago on Princess. They showed the Final Four games on Saturday on MUTS and the championship was also on MUTS. It was great fun. A LOT of people were out there!

To the OP...this is a great thread. Thanks for starting i.

We had Samana as a port. In doing the research, I had decided that we would need to just to endure this port to get to the other ports. Boy, was I wrong. We had one of the best days we have had in 11 cruises worth of ports. We did a private tour with Casa Dorado that took us to Playa Rincon. At the time, Conde Nast rated it as the fourth most beautiful beach in the world. Catherine and Roberto are incredible people and are very attentive to your every need. GREAT DAY!!!!

We have been to Tropicante several times. Steve is fabulous-he treats you like family. We were impressed how he went from chair to chair and got to know them. The food is fabulous and the drinks and massages were inexpensive. Because of our experiences, Costa Maya is always a port we look forward to.
