I highly recommend staying just over the Hudson if you want to save some money. There is a nice Courtyard Marriot in Jersey City (Directly across the Hudson...with views of Manhattan) that is directly next to a PATH (Train) station. Each ride is $2.50 a person and it only takes 10-20 min to get into and out of lower Manhattan. Very convenient and quick.

What airport should you fly into to stay here?

What is the best airport to fly into (will be departing from Memphis) if that makes any difference.

Need suggestions on where to stay pre-cruise. We plan to do a tour of the sights and possibly do a shop.

Never been to New York before so any help would be appreciated. We are departing on Norwegian Gem on May 23rd and are looking to fly in on Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks for the review. Going on Breakaway on 5/24 and I was concerned about booking on Floor 9, but sounds like that may be a good thing.

After reading this thread, I thought I would check the price of the Dawn as we are booked on the Breakaway. Right now, the Breakaway is cheaper for a balcony room, unless I am missing something.

Going to be on the same cruise. It will be our first cruise to Bermuda, also.

Cruise on the Pearl 11/20 - 12/1, hoping for some Christmas Decorations before I get home.

I am going on the Pearl in November, but I wasn't aware of the Spa Pass. Thanks for the info.

What is Pearl Spa Pass?

We are arriving in Vancover on Aug 24 at approx 7:15 PM via airport and we have reservations for the night at Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown. Our cruise is on Princess and lives August 25th. Any suggestions for site seeing on the morning of 8/25 or should we just skit it. Also, can someone tell me where to shop nearby to get Diet Cokes to take on the boat.
