  1.

In hindsight we should have skipped the little shops and headed straight down to the park! Once we got there we saw there was an artisan market going on and there were all kinds of really cool and neat things there for sale that are made by SJ artists, the best part was the assortment of things to choose from and how cheap they were!

We looked around at all the neat stuff and bought a few things, they had everything from jewelry, to things made from clay, to leather goods etc. They also had horse and carriage rides and a piraguas stand.

    Hi,

Loving your review so far, we had been to san juan last year, reading your review I see we missed a lot. I would have loved to spend time with the cats and eat at the chocolate restaurant.

I was wondering whereabouts the artisan market was located, we never came across it while there, when i googled a farmers market comes up but it's only there sat. Any info you can provide would be great.

  2. Uh I feel a little weird asking this, but just straight up; I looked at this tour on trip advisor and people were saying they paid hundreds, I means hundreds. Is that right? I need to keep looking if so. I am used to under $100 pp for a day of snorkeling and cheap rum punch on a boat.

Which tour? Island marketing is a company with many tours in many coutries. I'm looking at the tiki hut tour for St Martaan and it was only $69 for 6 hours. I'm the same and wont pay more than $100 and most times less than that.

  3. I'm glad you started this thread. I started one back in August, but haven't gotten too many replies. :( I was hoping to get more info. on the "tiki" beach tour to Pinal Island. So if anyone out there has done this tour I would love to have more details of what you did. :)

Have used them 4 times so far, twice on Cozumel, once on Gr. Cayman and once on St. Kitts. Never ever had a problem.

We will be using them again this December on St. Martin. We are doing the "tiki" beach tour to Pinal Island. I would recommend them. :)

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I am currently looking at Island Marketing tiki beach tour and can't find much info on the company or many reviews. SAw you were going last month and was wondering how it went for you?

  4. We are thinking about sailing the Valor 2015 Southern out of San Juan. I know on the Pride there were those rooms that were priced as inside rooms but had the french doors...not many people knew about. Does the Valor have any special rooms like this? Do you see many price drops with the Southern cruises? Thanks in advance

    Hi!

I'm booked on the Valor for this coming March, southern out of San Juan. So far I have reduced the price the last 3 months from $429 to $349 for an interior. Not a whole bunch of savings but the extra $80 ea. is good to have, and still a couple months for it to reduce further.
