  1. Thanks everyone my issues are:

    1. I don't like room service because I like my coffee as soon as I get up and don't like to predict when to bring the coffee because our bed times fluctuate.

    2. Don't like cruise coffee but don't really drink coffee for the taste or enjoyment but to prevent the "headache".

So I will just pack some traveling mugs and my favorite flavor of coffee mate and just go to the beverage station to get our morning coffee.

  2. We have never done a Royal Caribbean Cruise. We are leaving November 29, 2015 on Freedom of the Seas. My niece, who has gone on the Freedom before told me that we should reserve to see the shows. We booked "My Time Dining" so want to make reservations for dining but not sure when the show times are. I can't seem to find it on the RC site. I see ice shows but the times are for 2014. Does anyone know what time the shows are and can they be reserved?

    Thanks in advance, Beth

  3. Hi, We are driving up to Port Canaveral from Vero Beach for our Freedom of the Seas Cruise leaving November 29.

Should we drop off our luggage first then park the car? If so, should one of us stay with the luggage while the other parks the car or should we both drop off the luggage then park the car?

Also, which parking facility do you recommend?

    Thanks, Beth

  4. Just booked aft stateroom 6410 on Freedom of the Seas. Have never sailed with Royal Caribbean before. We love aft staterooms and I know it's an obstructed view. I'm reading reviews that 6410 is noisy because of the crew deck being below and a door constantly banging because of the crew going in and out.

Does anyone know about this storeroom? Should I see if I can change it?

    Thanks, Beth

  5. I'm so sorry Joanie. I don't understand why there are such jerks out there with nothing to do then sit on the internet and be distructive.

I also want to thank you for your wonderful sites. It was because of your site that I found our stateroom which is going to be 4166 on the Westerdam. We board this Sunday and I can't wait to see our huge balcony. I picked this stateroom for the balcony. I love just being on the balcony and watching the water go by. Ahhhhhhh :-)

  6. As RoyalCruz said, the Rustic Inn is open and the shuttle service that the hotel provides will take you there if you don't want to walk it after dark (area looked pretty safe though). The shuttle runs from 4-10 or 4-11 on the weekend. The hotel also gives you several takeout menus to choose from.

Take out menu even better. Thanks so much for your help! Beth

  7. Thanks, I was just reading some reviews on the hotel and read about this gas station. We get in rather late (6pm) so wouldn't have time for any shopping other then nearby. We just want to pick up a couple of shoots of soda but if we can't no big deal. Is there a place for a late night dinner after the flight nearby? Beth

  8. Hi, I have been looking through this thread and just overwhelmed. We want a pre-cruise hotel for March 3, 2011. Don't want to spend much $150 or so is fine. Don't want a dump but don't need high class accomodations. Just clean and a comfortable bed. We stayed at La Quinta a few years back. I believe the plantation one, it was nice but wanted to try something different. Would like to have a nearby restaurant, shuttles from the airport to the hotel and then another shuttle in the AM to Port Everglades. Oh, and breakfast in the am would be nice.

    I have been thinking about:

    Homewood Suites

    Fairfield Inn and Suites

    Best Western Plus

Any other suggestions or which one would you pick?

    Thanks, Beth

  9. Hi, we are going to Bermuda on NCL's Dawn leaving Sunday May 2!!!! YIPEEEE!!!

Anyway, someone mentioned that there is a beach where there is Beach Glass at King's Wharf. Where is this beach and can we walk to it from our ship docked at King's Wharf? Could someone give me directions?

Last year while we were in Bermuda we got tons of Beach Glass at Alexandria Battery Beach near St George but if we could walk to a beach that would be great! We have no problem walking a few miles so that's no problem.

    Thanks, Beth
