  1. It appears 5 and under is free. Here is the language from Island Marketing (details applicable to pre-booking through them rather than directly from BCH):

Please note that booking in advance is highly recommended. Not only will you save money as the price at the door is $65.00pp, but space is limited, and this will ensure your spaces are secure in advance.

The hotel is easy and safe to get to and it is within walking distance from your cruise ship port. Specific directions and payment details will be included with your confirmation e-mail, which we will send following the receipt of your secure reservation.

This exclusive day pass is priced at $60.00 USD per adult & $30.00 USD for children, ages 12 - 6 (children 5 & under are free). You will have access to the hotel from 9:00am to 5:00pm and may come and go at your leisure. For the comfort of the hotel guests and our valued cruise ship clients, we have limited the sale of our day pass program, thus ensuring comfort and enjoyment for everyone.

Booking in advance is highly recommended to save money but do not pay attention to the "limited number of passes" as Island Marketing does NOT have an exclusive on this pass. If they are sold out there are other distributors who have the exact same deal.

  2. I used them in other destinations and like their service but NO I do not work for them. Seems like they are new in Nassau and used them for the Hilton British Colonial but I know Bahamas Shore Excursions has the same deal at the British Colonial so it didn't matter who I used...

As my name suggests I try to learn things... Aren't we all just looking for the best deal and experience?

  3. Don't know about that.. I tested several dates and got the same pricing or lower using the comfort suites website.

So unless there is a specific date that's is actually cheaper - that wouldn't make sense.

You didn't account for all the taxes and gratuities on CS website. It appears that the price on Resort for a Day includes all of that up front.

Scuba Girl - any thoughts here?

  4. Hilton Day pass includes this food credit regardless of where you purchase. Don't know Resort 4 day, but Island marketing is the preferred vendor of the Hilton.

Same day passes purchased at the front desk are an additional $5. $60 with $40 credit for adult $30 with $15 credit for kids.

Hilton is a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.. it's not a busy resort.

If you children are ok with playing in the sand or in a quiet pool, this is the place. If they need activities, you won't find that here. They do have 2 kayaks for use by guests.

Thanks Scubagirrl!! We have used Resort 4 Day in Jamaica at the Hilton so it seems they have a relationship with that brand just want to check because this deal seems crazy good :). Thanks for all the help we will be deciding soon!

  5. I posted on a different board but I heard Resort 4 Day offers a $40 food & beverage credit for adults and a $20 credit one for children 6 -12 if you book pass through them. Anyone know if this is true? Coming to Nassau with a 7 and 9 year old...

Also - is the Melia worth it now that it is no longer a Sheraton?

    Thanks!!
