  1. I was on the 11/17 Royal sailing, and the Retreat Pool was very windy on the days we were at sea. I attached a picture to give you an idea. We also found that the chairs situated on the sides of the Sanctuary were picking up a lot of wind. We had to line our chairs with about 4 towels in order to hold them down in the wind! At first I was disappointed that we weren't able to book chairs for the entire week in the Sanctuary, but I am glad we didn't with that amount of wind! For the port day we were at Princess Cays, we were able to book chairs in the front center of the Sanctuary, under the windscreen and that was just perfect. I am unsure if that area gets windy during days at sea.

  2.

    Thank you for this link!

I am reading that Crown Grill and Sabatini's are getting completely booked on the first day on the Royal. I was hoping to know exactly what was on the MDR menu for the entire week, so I would know which days to book the specialty restaurants.

I have read that the goat cheese souffle and beef wellington are delicious, and I don't want to book a specialty restaurant when those are in the MDR.

    Thanks

  3. I am on the Island princess in December and was hoping to book the sanctuary for the entire trip. In past cruises, I would go there early and book by the day, but I wanted to splurge this next vacation. I heard that you need to board the ship early in order to book your lounger, since the 50% allotted lounges are quickly booked. I am kind of stressed because I am worried that I won't make it there on time. Does anyone know how fast the cruise-long reservations fill-up? Thanks.
