8 days for us too on the Vista.
-
We utilized Peat Taylor Tours in Ocho Rios and had Peat Jr. (aka Repeat) and had probably one of the best excursions ever. We booked Dunn's River and then the ocean horseback ride. The guides were great along the way and when we got into the water on the horses, it was breathtaking.
-
We did this on the Pride last year. We went right to the excursion desk and they wrote our names on the list. Later on in the cruise, they charged our accounts.
-
I am with you on this question. We booked a week ago on the Breeze in 11204. I fully understand the possibility of being bumped. I am curious to see if it has happened to anyone.
-
Congratulations!!! We were in the same situation on the Breeze. We got the same call for the same amount. Now we are spoiled on the spa. Especially the Thalassotherapy pool. We are sailing in two weeks and booked a spa cabin.
-
The last time we sailed on the Breeze, there was a group of younger guys that would always wear them out to the deck parties. They had clothes on underneath, but they were the life of the party. We even ended up wearing ours out to the deck party also. You only live once, so what the heck. It was fun having a great time without a care in the world. With that said, I would not wear them out to while we were getting food or anything like that.

Great review so far. I love your humor throughout the review so far (French word for four). You have me cracking up. We are sailing on the Pride Sunday so I am definitely following your review.

Have a great cruise. We sail on her in 20 days. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you get back.

We will be in port and are looking for something to do other than an excursion. I have read some very limited details about the Krazy Lobster in other reviews. Is it far from the ship? How much for a cab? I did read about the beach and chairs being free as long as you eat there. Wifi? Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give us.
-
Thanks for the info so far. We sail on 2/22 and have the steak house reserved for our first night at 8pm. Hopefully we sail on time so we can be out on deck when we go under the Skyway.
-
We are on the 2/22 sailing on the Pride and our roll call is ok, nothing near what the repositioning roll call for 3/15 is like. That sounds like it is going to be a great cruise.

Can you give the website for the vialano excursion? Thank you!

I don't know if cruise critic will let me, but it's http://cavetubing.bz or just google Vitalino Reyes.

We have booked the cave tubing/ zip lining with Vitalino also. Our biggest fear is not making it back to the boat in time. Do you think that there is truly enough time to make it back to the boat in time?
-
Thanks for the info. We have reserved cave tubing and zip lining in Belize with Vialino also due to it being half price. Did we make a mistake? We are bringing our 13 yo DS with us and missing the ship would be a big thing.
-
Thanks for the info. We cannot wait to sail next month. The days are dragging by.
-
I kind of like the new format, I think lol. We actually dropped another $10/pp yesterday and $10/pp last week. So far we are up to $272 obc for our cruise on the Pride for February 22nd.
-
We sailed in February and never seen a huge wait for them. They didn't really pay out though. The wifey did win 500 on a pull tab card the last cruise day though...
-
We had a Spa Balcony cabin on the Breeze and loved it. We tried to get to the Thalassotherapy pool every night, but ran out of time. It was great to relax in after a hard day at sea. If I could afford it for every cruise, I would. Not to mention, how quiet it was on deck 12.
-
Thank you so much for recommending Peat Taylor. We used them for these two excursions, and they were absolutely amazing. Hands down. We had Peat Jr., aka "Repeat" and he was out of this world.
-
We were booked on the Breeze for last week. We started out with an interior on deck 9. They called about a week and a half prior to sailing and offered us a Cloud 9 spa balcony for $149 pp, $298 total for the two of us. When I looked online, it would have been almost $800 to upgrade to that.
-
There isn't a mud room. There are four aromatherapy rooms, two of them with steam. We just got off the Breeze Sunday and would have loved a mud room.

Brad,
I just sent you a friend request. Thank's for taking the time to write your review.
Mike
You are very welcome. I will get back to the rest of the review tomorrow.

Unfortunately we missed buying our shirts on the Breeze when they had the "groove" during the day last week. We happened to be in the Fun Shop later that night and they offered them there. We were able to buy two of them.

Just checked out your pictures on Facebook. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing them and writing this review.
Sandi
Thank you very much
Carnival Vista cabin 1472

We just received our guarantee cabin assignment. We are assigned to cabin 1472. It appears that this is an odd shaped room and I was hoping to hear from someone who has sailed in it and possibly has pictures as well. Thanks in advance.
