We decided to book the 9 day on the Summit to try something new and like that it sails out of Fort Lauderdale instead of San Juan. Never been on a 9 day cruise so thinking it will very relaxing to have the 4 sea days.

I have sailed Silhouette twice and loved it, ship was beautiful. We are looking at a cruise Jan/Feb 2017 - got a price for a 9 day on Summit Feb 18th from Fort Lauderdale and a 7 day on Silhouette. Similar prices.

I enjoyed all the specialty restaurants - Qsine, Murano, Tuscon Grille very mu much are those available on Summit? We also liked the Solarium area on the Silhouette- is there the same area on the Summit?

I am worried that the Summit will not be as nice.

Any advice is appreciated.

We are starting to research flights from Toronto to San Juan for January 9th, Delta has a flight with a 1 hour and 10 minute layover at JFK with a change of plans, I have never been to JFK so not sure if this is possible to make it to the 2nd leg of the flight with that time frame!!

I was checking southwest today and there are no cheap flights from Buffalo to SanJuan, it says the Wanna fly rates are unavailable, we can fly from Toronto too but was hoping to get something cheaper from Buffalo..

Looking at going on our first cruise with royal, do they sell bottles of liquor that you can order ahead of time and get delivered to the cabin? Also do they sell wine packages? I understand they now have a drink package - what is the cost of that per day?

I was just on the Silhouette last week and when we looked at the expenses it said we owed money which we were expecting however we were suppose to have a $250 OBC , guest relations said it did not show up anywhere and we would have to wait til we got home, I called on Monday and was told they have to wait to get final invoices from the ship. We booked this cruise while onboard Jan 2014 with the future cruise dept and once home we transferred to our travel agent, I am wondering if that is where the mix up came in. I wish we would have noticed this before the last day of the cruise. I know our reservation # changed also, do you think they will find the mistake and give us a refund? I have no record of the original reservation # from the ship as I never thought I would need it. Am I out of luck?

We are leaving in 2 weeks from Toronto for our cruise on the Silhouette, I would like to have the phone number to call Choice Air if there is a problem getting out due to bad weather, I looked on my paperwork and cannot find it listed anywhere. Thanks

Is there a fee to use the gym?

Do they serve BUD on the Silhouette?? A friend that is coming on his first cruise with us is curious!!

There is no limit, I sailed Celebrity for the first time recently and benefited from the free classic drink package - there was no issues with the number of beverages I ordered, It is a great perk and no catches.

I met Melbourne at the pool bar, just sailed Jan 5th to 12th

He was a nice guy!!

Just booked our first Celebrity Cruise, Silhouette on Jan 5th, booked Consierge - so looking forward to a balcony!!

I remember you from the ship too ! I met Laura and Ro at the meet and greet also and she told me how tough the hike was in St. Lucia. Your review was excellent and brought back some great memories of the cruise. We are looking at going on another cruise in January, I would even do this itinerary again, it was awesome.
