  1. I love Carnival! I’ve only cruised Carnival and it is definitely a fun ship! There is so many activities to do hourly and they give you a schedule the night before for daily activities.

Alcoholic drinks are not included on the ship, those are extra. Carnival has a main buffet for lunch, and then specialty “fast food” places like Blue Iguana Cantina and Guys Burgers. Those are places for breakfast and lunch. That food is included in your fare. They also have a Blue Iguana bar, but those drinks cost extra. They have speciality bars around the ship with drinks unique to that bar.

  2. How long is your cruise? It’s usually the second night on the ship. You have only one formal night on 5 day or less cruises, and 2 formal nights on 6 days or longer. Photographers will come around and take pictures at dinner, or there are backgrounds setup around the ship on formal night that you can take pictures at as well. Not sure on the packages.

    Some first time tips:

*Pack a power strip- there is usually only one outlet in the room.

*If you want to save room in your luggage, Carnival gives you a beach towel and you can take it off the ship.

*If you want to see a comedy show, get there early- they fill up quick.

*Over the door shoe holder is great to hold all your toiletries and accessories.

    *Have fun!!

  3. Depends on your cruise ship and if it’s formal night or not. For Carnival, that is your dining room time for seated dinner. Not all nights are formal, the other nights you can wear jeans and a nice shirt. If you want to eat at the buffet for dinner you can anytime, you don’t have to eat in the dining room.
