We are spending two nights precruise. The first night we will have flown about 14 hours and not arrive until 3 so by the time we transfer and check in we will probably only have time or energy to do more than walk to take peek at beach and grab a quick bite. The next day we have an island tour so we thought we would go early sat morning before boarding to Pearl Harbor so our luggage could stay at hotel. But that is not written in stone

Which companies independent of those with NCL have catamaran or raft tours that will fit with the ship’s schedule and can be reached by taxi? Also how tough snd dangerous are the zodiac trips into the sea caves? We want to see as much of the screenery as possible.

Has anyone heard more on changes on the 18th sailing? My travel agent sent me a text last night saying she had spoken with ncl yesterday and they still say no changes but the tour companies say it has been changed.

So the tax only applies while the ship is in port? Once it sails there is no tax regardless where it is? No big deal but just curious how that works

How do you find which ports have the extra charges? When in USA but sailing do the charges still apply?

We have the drink package as promo and have paid the gratuity charge. However I heard that we could be charged extra per drink bc we are in USA ports the entire time. Is this true and how much is the tax?

What nights are the more formal nights when the better meals are served in the main dining rooms? Don't want to schedule the speciality restaurants on those nights.

why is Sitka better than scagway when s ship needs maintenance?

Well it certainly doesn't benefit me bc the excursions I have had booked in advanced are cancelled bc we r not in port and are full for the new day or we do not even go to that port

What does it mean when a ship makes itenary changes due to operational challenges? That's' an euphenism for sure but I wonder what problem it is masking?

I cannot find the excursion that takes you out in the smaller boats and returns to cruise ship. Please advise.

My question really was if anything could be done in advance and following proper channels when poster after poster is citing same and serious problem for last several months. Surely there is someone in corporate who deals with concerns and issues that are on going

I am booked on the sun in July. I am very concerned with the number of comments about the strong foul smell in the aft area. Is there anything at all that can be done to properly address this issue and to whom should it be referred?
