We just got off the Grandeur on Wednesday. We did the carry off. We were off the ship, back to the hotel for our car, stopped for breakfast, drove an hour and a half home and were home by 10:00. I think you should be fine with the 11 AM flight. The Grandeur activities staff have their act together with the debarkation process. I would suggest getting down to the 4th floor Centrum by 6:45 though. The line starts to get very long from that point on.

I forget what ship we were on, but I believe it was the Freedom. The Captain told us the Coast Guard would not allow any larger ships to port in the US so RC would not be building above the Oasis class. He said that any larger amount of passengers would pose problems with evacuation.

I have been looking for information also. Very little out there. One woman responded to my post that they pick you up at the port and take you to Montego Bay where you board a brand new Catamaran. Then they take you to their beach which she said was beautiful. Drinks were provided while on the catamaran.
I wanted more information on the beach, snorkeling, the food and if anything is provided once you return to Margaritaville.

Just keeping this towards the top hoping someone else can chime in on their experience. Still nothing else out there on this excursion.

Hi.
I have two people in my family that drink Diet Coke and would want a bottle/can in the room at night/in the morning. Can we bring on a 12 pack of bottles/cans of Diet Coke from FLL for Indy?
If not, does the "general store" on Indy have Diet Coke in cans/bottles for sale?
Thank you.
I carry on a 6 pack bottle of diet coke and at least 24 bottles of water every cruise. Depending on the port, they may check every bottle to make sure they are sealed. I have never had a problem in Baltimore, Cape Liberty, Port Canaveral or Ft. Lauderdale.

they pick you up at the port and transfer to montego bay where they have the catamaran. Open bar on the catamaran. Her husband was sea sick so now she says she cant remember food on the beach. :( UGH .. sorry.
Thank you again. I think we may go ahead and book. Still hoping that there are others that can chime in on their experience.

4 of our group of 10 did this excursion a couple weeks ago! THEY ABSOLUTELY raved about it. Its Brand NEW with a BRAND NEW catamaran and the crew was amazing and professional. They were dressed in uniforms and everything was really classy! the beach they went to, my daughter said was the most beautiful beach she has ever seen and she has SEEN A LOT of beaches. My son-in-law got sea sick and they went ABOVE And BEYOND for him. Go for it! You will not be disappointed. :D:) I'm texting DD now to ask about food and drink. I believe it was included but I'm checking for sure
Thanks for the information. If you can find out anything more about the food and dinrks I would very much appreciate it.

Interesting. I saw some new Margaritaville excursions on the RC site. One is a catamaran.Good Call. I see the Margaritaville branded beach break with the catamaran sail listed on RCI'S excursion list. No reviews yet. You can choose snorkeling or a second stop at the Falmouth Margaritaville. Only 2 hours of beach time listed. Based on price I'm still leaning towards the day pass to Royalton White Sands for the most beach time and overall bang for your buck.
I wish there was more information out there on the Margaritaville Excursion. We are thinking about booking it in December while we're on the Grandeur. I guess since it is new there are no reviews or input about it. :(

Has anyone taken the Magaritaville Catamaran Excursion in Falmouth offered by RC? If so is it worth the $$$? I know food is not included. It indicates drinks are provided. Are drinks provided once you arrive back to the Margaritaville pool too or do you start paying for them at that point?

following we are doing the 10 day western in April :)
If nobody posts them, I'll get them and post them for you when we return.

We will be going on the Grandeur in November and I was wondering if anyone has copies of the MDR menus. I want to book one night at a specialty restaurant. Not that we don't enjoy every night in the dining room but want to choose a less desirable night to have dinner at another location.
-
Never seen one. We hit platinum 2 cruises ago, and will hit Emerald this upcoming cruise. Never received a thing.....guess we will reserve judgement until we actually get one.
Right there with you. We just hit Emerald our last cruise ad will hit Diamond on our Cruise this coming November. We have yet to receive any pins. I probably wouldn't do much with them, but it would be nice to just receive them.

Has anyone ever used Rebate Tours in Cozumel? I'm thinking of booking the Tequila Tour with them.

We are sailing in May and was wondering what the cost of photos is now. Does anyone know? I tried to get a price on the photo package but the website says "the sailing is not available for pricing". Not sure if it is better to buy individual photos??
We just returned from the Freedom of the Seas. 8 x 10 are $20.95 and the 6x 8 are $14.95. If you are a member of the Crown and Anchor Society your card will be loaded with a buy one get one half price coupon. Each card has the same offer, so make sure if there are two of you you use both cards to get the offers. The same goes for the drink offers they give you. There is also a package of 10 pictures for $169. However, with both my husband and I using our cards, the 10 pictures costs us $135.
Beds on Grandeur of the Seas are the worst.

We just got off the Grandeur and the mattress was great. Although we did have a JS. When we were debarking there were pallets of new mattress waiting to be loaded. So they must intend on replacing more of them.
