  1. We've been on the west Carib cruise that stops in Roatan, a few times. The best snorkeling we've ever done (and we've done a lot), was in Roatan. If you are going to snorkel anywhere do it there. There was so much action I never knew which way to look next! We did the half day catamaran tour last trip to Roatan, it was so worth it. We book with a company we found on tripadvisor, they had really great reviews Sun Splash Tours. Maybe check them out? They had a lot of throw-ins for us we weren't expecting, so it made our day that much better. Maybe check them out, it was way better than the jolly rogers catamaran that's for sure!

If you haven't been there before, it is really worth it to get out of the port and check out the island. It's really beautiful, reminds me of St. Lucia.

  2. Looks like you are really only going to the monkey & bird park? The rest are standard stops everyone makes, and you'll be in a group bus, if that matters to you? After doing the private tours, it's worth it to not be on the clock, you get to do a lot more that way. Definitely check out the monkeys though, we had a blast. I thought it would be a kiddie thing, but it really wasn't. Everyone can have fun.

  3. Hi, we have used Roatan Sun Splash a couple times when we've cruised West Carib. They were fantastic. Professional, patient with our kids. The last time we were there we did the zipline snorkel pkg.

We weren't booked to do the beach, but we decided to we really wanted to spend the rest of the day on the beach. They had a lunch pkg you could include. Maybe you should check with them and see if they still offer it? We found them on tripadvisor and booked because of the great reviews. Have a great time!!
