  1. Our Princess Vacation Planner said for our 6 days on the land tour, it would be $499 pp. Try looking at the Connoisseur tour for your amount of day tour. It may be comparable and you get a tour guide and a few extra excursions included. That's why we booked Connoisseur.

  2. I agree. We've never found a ship without several Mah Jongg sets. It sounds like you're taking your group with you, but if not, the library where the sets are will have a list where you can leave your name and cabin # if someone wants to play. Also, some ships have Mah Jongg days just like they do Bridge Days. Another tendency I've found is that if you go to the library early afternoon, you might find a game. Not 2 ships are alike...

  3. We are getting ready to go on our 20th cruise, 8th with Princess. The last 4 we have had the same Princess Vacation Planner , she has been fantastic, always going above her duties. We highly recommend going thru this Princess service. We have used TA'S also and we are more pleased with PVP.

  4. Shogun: You may know me as cruiseadik--Sandy. We were on the Canada New Eng. cruise together--the one going from Quebec City to Ft. Lauderdale. Anyway, I am setting up the M & G for our coastal in September. Could you tell me how many staff invitations your group sent out and who they were to? Thanks.

  5. I have a silly (?) question. On most other cruise lines, the ship sets up water, tea and/or lemonade and provides cookies or other snacks at no charge. Does Princess do this? Do you have to pay for that service. I understand about the cash bar, but what services do they provide? Can you request these services? Thanks,

We will be taking the coastal cruise from Vancouver on 9/29/12. We will be coming into town on the 27th and need information about possible hotels. We would like to be closer to town, but so far the amount is too much for us. I am looking for suggestions. Right now, we have booked an airport hotel (Best Western airport on Bridgeport Rd.) and plan to use the sky train for transportation downtown since we only have 1 day to spend in the downtown area. Does this sound feasible? Do you know what the cost for sky train is? Do you have any suggestions? We planned to ride the HOHO all day Fri. the 30th. It seems to go pretty many places. We have never spent time in Vancouver and have just begun to research. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
