Originally planned on booking an 11am flight. Total for our family of 4: $2,500...

OR by switching our return flight to 9:45am, it drops the flight cost down to $1,000!

So...can it be done? Have you done it? We would be up, self-disembarking, and ready to go.

I know it's controversial but I'm all ears!

Checked with family member who planned trip...it is Allure, not Oasis, and it definitely sails out of Fort Lauderdale.

I did a search on this subject, but didn't find info specific to spring break/Easter week. We usually cruise in the off-season and don't know what to expect.

Getting off Oasis...how crazy is it? How much time should we allot to get off ship and to airport?

Have to book flights...there is a 1pm flight which I know is safe...then there is an 11am flight which would save me $400! Can it be done?

Anything else we should know about cruising at a high-volume time? Thanks!

Just caught "Mighty Ships: Quantum of the Seas" on TV last night.

It was interesting that they talked about the surface area and how affected it is by high winds...

I guess you technically *could* slap a luggage tag on each...but have you ever tried to check and travel with a folding stroller? Mine always get broken. I would expect that they'd be easily damaged along the way unless you're somehow packing them in a bag or protective case. The airlines and shoreside porters are throwing stuff around all the time...

I really don't know why you want to schlep an additional two chairs? Seems like a lot of work when there are chairs already on the balcony and they are not that uncomfortable! Your room steward will even bring you a footstool if you give him a nice tip.

just hopped back on CC after sticker shock pricing our first cruise in a while. the new class of ships is out of our price range for sure. i guess it isn't just me!

i was curious about that too. we have friends onboard now but no word from them.

can you tell me about the live music venues and what kind of music they played at night

Does anyone know what lounge acts are on Silhouette now?

I know Michael's Club is gone but is there a bar with an extensive beer list and/or beer tasting?

We are getting ready to head off on the Silhouette in a few weeks.

We will probably eat in the MDR most nights, but might want to try one or two specialty restaurants.

If you had to choose only one or two, which would you pick?

Do any of them offer lunch? (Aside from Bistro on 5)

(If it helps, we have been on Celebrity twice before- but not since M class in 2007!)
